Luther Wildin goal for Antigua & Barbuda

Notts County academy star Luther Wildin is making a bit of a name for himself on the international stage as well as at Meadow Lane.

He scored a corker for Antigua & Barbuda's Under-20 side in their 4-1 defeat against Honduras in the CONCACAF Under-20s Cup.

Admittedly their defence doesn't really seem to be trying, but kudos to the 20-year-old for persevering through them and for the good finish.

That's a quality goal! Hope he makes the grade at Notts and scores some of those for us too.

Also like his teammate's attempt at controlling the ball that became a pass :D

I don't want to sound like I'm just trying to discredit him, it is a very well worked and well taken goal. Yet the defending is poor, that doesn't take anything a way from him taking on, what 3 players? Yet nobody after that pressed and the shot was simply just well placed.

I'd argue a better keeper, one who was actually more alert may have done better.

Sorry to sound like the Grinch but the poor standard makes it look better, don't get me wrong I'm pleased for him but I wouldn't sensualise the goal.

Bottom line it's well taken, very well worked and good prospect for a kid of his age but to act like it was a screamer or on par with breathtaking seems very wrong for me. If your reading this Luther, congrats and well done but just keep going (I'm sure bigger and better things will come). ;)
