What line-up should Harry Kewell opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

Kewell's first game in charge. Think it will be more of a experiment with the younger players to see who can maybe break into the first team. I like our youth setup at Notts so I fully back us to win this game comfortably .. I think it will be a 3-1 win to Notts County. I expect the lineup to be this:

Culverwell / Hawkridge - Bird - Dunn - Osbourne / Thomas - Patching - Crawford - Howes / Alessandra - Campbell.

Hopefully a chance to lift spirits within the camp.

Use the game to test other players who could fit into the formation required fix the defensive issues in the league.

Winning games at the moment is a must for Notts.

The confidence will be very low and this is a tricky thing to resolve too.

get out of it asap and focus on the league, its a meaningless cup anyway and will only hinder the league.

I think we should also focus on the league really

I’m hoping we can use this game to give the new players a run out maybe try some new tactics .. this a group stage comp atm so we have a bit of room to move but the league is more important in my opinion ..

I don't care remotely about this competition and only the performance is relevant.

Use it as a chance to experiment, or alternatively field the squad that might be the starting 11 for league games and make them work hard to impress. *Shrug 🤷‍♂️

Give the youngsters a run and any that impress should get a league game!

Just try to install a winning mentality from this game, it's winnable and if it does happen it could benefit the next league game.

Is the Ox fit now? I still haven't seen him at Meadow Lane yet.

its just like notts to do better in this than the league, if they win give more of the youngsters the time of day and maybe they will repay the club.

If he's fit where is he?

I don't really care about the competition but a win would help boost the players confidence.

I'm not really bothered about this particular competition, but as many have already said, a win would boost the players confidence. So let's hope for that and that the players play well too.

It would be interesting to see if Kewell fields a stronger squad than we think.

He might mix it up by fielding some of the players he felt had a bad game this past Saturday with youngsters added or he may start those he felt did well and insert people to fix the bad performers.

Everyone seems out of sync a little and others just have no form at all.

A good performance could lift the players confidence, as would a clean sheet. They will be playing to keep within Kewell's plans tonight.

I wonder if there was much point signing him, I hope he shows us at some point that he worth paying him.

Right now I’m thinking the same mate .. he’s not featured in any games so far and I think we could do with him pal. What we payed so far isn’t worth it

Far stronger line-up than I expected, I think it should be an eye opener.

It's good to see Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ward, Kellett and Husin all making a start.
