A win about now would increase the form at a positive point, I don't know much about this Crewe side but as always I hope for that first league win.

My prediction would be 3-1.

Hemmings, Stead and Evina to score. I just hope they win because it's needed right now.

I felt Notts started brilliantly and until Crewe scored, I felt the game would be fairly simple but the mistake (which no one can be blamed for) resulted the lead being taken away. It was awkward watching Notts after that, and despite Crewe looking quite comfortable with drawing - I couldn't help but feel someone needed to take the game and attempt to change it. I think in the first half we was somewhat lucky Crewe didn't take the lead.

I warned that they had a good midfield that worked hard, they had two fairly capable strikers and moved the ball nicely.

Second half Notts just dominated and the win was deserved.

I'm very pleased they kept battling at it. It's a very good performance but it could have been much difference if the team had worked harder in the first half.

More than i thought we'd get. 3 points :)  Keep the points coming and we'll get far away from relagation.

First three point thank f-Ing god the first half wasn’t brilliant but the second like a team possessed playing for each other and never giving up ... this the County I’m proud of ...!!

It was a good game.

Crewe wasn't exactly pushovers but they just failed in the key areas for me. Their defence looked like a good team would enjoy playing them, as I felt Notts could have won by more but overall they did enough to keep the game respectable.

I am delighted with the performance and 3 points gained.

I felt Crewe did well, they looked more aggressive in the first half. They passed the ball around differently and that made it hard for Notts, the reshuffle in the second half helped correct the balance.

It was great to get the first win under our belts, second half much better than the first, Fitzsimmons made an excellent save low down to his left in the second half I was right behind that goal it was excellent and deserved the congratulations he got from his team mates.

I think Crawley on Tuesday will be a lot harder.

Far better performance over the Stevenage game, fitness did look a little concerning with how the players moved in the first half but some of this may be down to effort or desire.

Second it was fantastic, very enjoyable and it was good to see two teams playing well.

Crewe was a good team, just lacking a bit of grit but they gave Notts a game and outclassed the club at times.

It's good to see the 3 points come from a home performance, Notts really worked hard to get the win and the second half they could have had several. That was the main difference from the first 45 minutes, Notts just didn't control the game but Kewell and the players corrected that.

Relief all round I think !

However, let’s not get carried away. There were elements of Saturday that left much to be desired. Although everyone is willing Fitz to regain the form of last season he is still way off the mark... a save that was going yards wide, giving Crew a corner and that ridiculous attempt at a punched clearance was frightening. The defence looked much more assured but we still look like we could concede at any moment.

By stating the above I am not feeling too negative, I hope & pray that we have turned the corner and we can now look forward to some decent results and a rapid climb to safety.

The win and performance is more solid than the last two draws, I take nothing away from them but its a solid foundation to build progress from.

I wasn't sure Notts would get the goal to seal all three points despite them pushing for it. I am pleased for the likes of Elliott Hewitt, Ross Fitzsimons and Jon Stead because sometimes they are undervalued.

The first two are starting to show their worth, so I hope the club can keep it up.

Impressive performance to say how poor Notts have been.
