November 21, 20186 yr #2 4 of the last 8 encounters have finished 4-1 which is quite incredible. Don't expect anything from this shambles at the minute. Nobody looks bothered, there is no system and it's only going to get worse until a new manager is appointed. 2-0 Morecambe
November 21, 20186 yr #3 i dont know what to expect from morecambe i think they will be physical and i worry that they will manage to put us off playing to that style of football. its a game on our day we could win but chettle seems to be guessing. can we play two strikers please.
November 21, 20186 yr #4 I suspect nothing to change. Never expect anything at the moment. Morecambe flying for their poor squad. They have a few decent players but nothing that should cause us any harm ... but hey this is Notts County we are on about. Morecambe 4 - 1 Notts County
November 21, 20186 yr #5 I really don't know what to expect either. I hope we can at least get a point because no points would not help us at all.
November 21, 20186 yr #7 If the players had any pride left they would fight even if it meant drawing being turned over by some of the worst teams in this leagues depressing but they should see how the fans feel having to watch them play.
November 21, 20186 yr #8 I'm going to say a 1-1 draw. Notts could be poor right now but I think Morcambe will concede, will Notts prevent them scoring two? That's a questions for me.
November 21, 20186 yr #9 If Notts can be productive with their passing it would make the game easier, I think Notts have been worse away from home and that leaves me thinking that the performance won't be up to much. I won't be at the game, I will be listening and following the updates online. I just hope something positive can come from the game.
November 21, 20186 yr #10 I’m very sceptical about this because if Steve chettle is in charge based on what I saw Saturday I have to say no idea I questioned his attack his set out and style Notts looked so lost and I think it will be the same this week. But it all changers if a new manager comes in which at this late stage it won’t be so Steve will be in charge and I really think he will need to up the game plan and the way the lads approach the game. I’m hoping this changes this week so I’m going either 1-0’loss or a 1-1 I know it’s negative and I don’t mean to be

November 22, 20186 yr #12 @ivansneck It's automated, I need to amend this but I've been busy as of late with many different things. ???? I don't expect anything from the game either, I feel Steve Chettle needs a solid plan leading into the game. IF Paul Hart is having a say on things, then he should be aware how to break a team down like Morecambe. We need to be physical back, smart and mindful about picking up cards. Play the ball down when we can, keep it in the air to win ground - from the back I don't care if Notts hoofs it to the midfield but they need to pass it. My worries is that whoever is making the tactical decisions, they don't think outside of the box. Cheltenham should never have battered Notts, the tactics and lack of game plan allowed it to happen. It made it easy, Saturday we need to work well and make it harder.
November 22, 20186 yr #13 its looking grim, i dont feel confident but something has to change. i hope chettle can ground out a good result and i would be happy with a draw but notts needs a win.
November 22, 20186 yr #14 My heart wants a win, a fluke goal or just one touch of magic. If Notts can prevent Morecambe from scoring it would be a positive but right now, it seems easier to score than to miss.
November 22, 20186 yr #15 It would be nice to see better stats for once, either the players will respond or they will play like amateurs.
November 22, 20186 yr #16 If Notts avoided playing the ball in the sky and passing themselves into danger, things would be a lot easier but my biggest concern is if we allow Morecambe to score easily. The problem then on will to prevent further leaks at the back.
November 23, 20186 yr #17 It shows how far we’ve fallen when we’re genuinely worried about taking on Morecambe a team that has practically no budget, a squad that Adam Campbell isn’t deemed good enough for and with soon to be 40-year-old Kevin Ellison still turning out for them. Jim Bentley must hold some supernatural powers because I’ve no idea how they’ve been able to hang onto their league 2 status for so long. Must get a draw out of it as a minimum but honestly we’ve got the players to win this game comfortably. It's just a shame they're all in awful form at the moment, hopefully they’ll want to impress with the new manager, who I’m sure will be following the game.
November 23, 20186 yr #18 Morecambe could surprise me and play attacking minded football, yet I suspect a scrappy physical team tomorrow. I hope Notts have done their home work. Games are lost on the day but not completely outplayed, if Chettle is as talented as some people claim - he won't find this hard. If he is a good coach, then he will know what exactly needs doing.
November 23, 20186 yr #19 I know Neal Ardley won't be in charge tomorrow but I hope 'The new manager effect' happens tomorrow. Also the players have had a week to think about the last defeat and ought to be bursting to put things right.
November 23, 20186 yr #20 At least we are moving in the right direction, hopefully tomorrow doesn't slip any further before he gets chance to do anything.
November 23, 20186 yr #21 Tomorrow is also a big test for my lot as well as Notts.Rams had a blank Saturday last week ,thanks to the international break, but 2 weeks ago while Notts lost 4 - 0 away to Barnsley,Derby were humiliatated at home 3 - 0 by a resurgent Aston Villa.I;m hoping tomorrow sees a return to winning ways for both my teams
November 24, 20186 yr #22 im nervous as hell, i am worried if notts lose today that it will make ardleys job a lot harder. i dont think some will be mindful he needs time more expecting instant results and a loss today would make it seem harder to turn around.
November 24, 20186 yr #23 I would have taken the draw before the game, so I see no reason to complain. I understand why fans would feel we lost 3 points but at the end of the day we always look likely to concede and it's a hard thought point. Hopefully it gives Neil Ardley an insight into what must be done so that he can aid further improvements, I did listen to the game and I can't comment much else. It sounded like we did enough to warrant the lead which is pleasing to see.
November 24, 20186 yr #24 I always think a point away from home is acceptable whoever the opposition but it is really galling to concede so near to the final whistle..
November 24, 20186 yr #25 Poor game, neither team was clinical on goal and a draw seems the fairer score. Dennis did well but there are few who could say the same of.
