So what is your favourite Christmas Film?

Mine is Scrooge the musical from 1970 starring Albert Finney as Scrooge. We have got it on DVD (one of the few DVD's we own) and have to watch it every Christmas otherwise it doesn't seem like Christmas.

I also like to read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens every Christmas too, it's obviously the same story as the film but is well worth a read this time of year.

So what is your favourite Christmas film?

Really easy, I used to watch this every year and it was something I looked forward to watching. When I became a Teen, I still looked out for it but it seemed to slowly disappear. For something what used to be on 2-3 times during the festive period, I found it frustrating that some years none of the channels decided to air it because for me it highlights Christmas.

Santa Claus: The Movie

Best Movie - Realistic Santa - Enjoyable Story -

I'm a sucker for the majority of Christmas movies though.

I leave the film choices to Granny and am often  pleasantly surprised to find that I enjoy a film I wouldn't normally choose myself.I do like Home alone though.

Home Alone 1-2 is brilliant... I suspect somebody else not far from me will say this, I assume @super_pie will say something else.

We watched 'Saving Santa' the other day as a family, it was nice to hear Tim Curry - Who connects HA 2 to this movie. :)

Home Alone 1,2 & 3 are all brilliant, the second was my favourite. Never gets old. Elf is hilarious too, thats another film that ou never fail to laugh at.

Another one I really like is the first Die Hard. It's not a christmassy film as such, but it's set at Christmas, and it is one of my favourite films. Mum loves a bit of Bruce Willis in a vest :P
