The Pride of Nottingham is seeking to expand its moderation team with the addition of a Global Moderator. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our fan community by ensuring discussions remain respectful and aligned with our site's values. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a fair and impartial approach to community management, and a genuine passion for Notts County. As a Global Moderator, you will be entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing multiple sections of the site, mediating disputes, and upholding the standards that make our community great.
We are looking for someone with a willingness to engage actively with our members and become a key member of the Pride of Nottingham community. Please note that this is a voluntary role, offering no financial compensation but providing an opportunity to be at the heart of Notts County's online fanbase.

Rule: Maintain Respectful Communication
As a moderator on the Pride of Nottingham fan site, it is imperative that you uphold the highest standard of respectful communication at all times. This entails addressing all members, regardless of their views or affiliations, with courtesy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Interactions: Regularly review forum threads and comments to ensure that discussions remain civil and on-topic.
- Enforce Guidelines: Promptly address any instances of harassment, abusive language, or derogatory remarks by issuing warnings or taking appropriate disciplinary actions in accordance with the site’s policies.
- Encourage Constructive Dialogue: Foster an environment where differing opinions can be expressed freely yet respectfully, steering conversations towards constructive outcomes.
- Mediate Conflicts: Act as a neutral party in resolving disputes between members, aiming for amicable solutions that respect all parties involved.
Expected Conduct:
- Impartiality: Remain unbiased when enforcing rules, treating all members equally regardless of personal opinions.
- Discretion: Exercise sound judgement in interpreting the context and intent behind communications, applying rules consistently but with consideration for individual circumstances.
