The Pride of Nottingham is delighted to invite new researchers to join our team. This role is vital in providing our fan community with in-depth, accurate, and insightful information about Notts County. The ideal candidate will have a talent for conducting thorough research, a comprehensive understanding of football, and a deep-rooted passion for Notts County.

As a Researcher, you will have the flexibility to conduct and present research on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. This research could span a wide range of topics, including but not limited to match statistics, player performance, historical data, and tactical analyses. Your work will play an instrumental role in creating a knowledgeable and informed fan community.

Role: Researcher

As a Researcher for the Pride of Nottingham fan site, it is crucial that you maintain a high standard of factual accuracy and thoroughness at all times. This involves curating 'On This Day' features, compiling statistics, and verifying facts that resonate with our members, regardless of their views or affiliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curate 'On This Day' Features: Regularly research and compile interesting events, matches, and moments from Notts County's history to feature in the 'On This Day' section of the site.
  • Compile Statistics: Gather and analyse data related to the team's performance, player statistics, and other relevant metrics to provide insightful content for the site.
  • Fact Verification: Ensure that all information published on the site is accurate and reliable, cross-checking facts and figures from multiple sources.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with the latest news, updates, and developments related to Notts County and the wider football world.

Expected Conduct:

  • Accuracy: Ensure all information provided is accurate, reliable, and well-sourced, maintaining the site's reputation for factual integrity.
  • Attention to Detail: Apply meticulous attention to detail to all research tasks, ensuring high-quality and error-free output.
  • Communication: Clearly explain your findings when necessary, providing rationale and referencing specific sources.
