The Pride of Nottingham is eager to invite new Graphic Designers to join our team. This role is essential in providing our fan community with visually appealing and engaging content about Notts County. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating captivating designs, a comprehensive understanding of football, and a heartfelt passion for Notts County.

As a Graphic Designer, you will have the flexibility to create and share designs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. These designs could encompass a wide range of topics, including but not limited to match posters, player illustrations, historical infographics, and opinion pieces. Your work will play a pivotal role in fostering a vibrant and visually stimulating fan community.

Role: Graphic Designer

As a Graphic Designer for the Pride of Nottingham fan site, it is crucial that you maintain a high standard of visual communication at all times. This involves creating engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our members, regardless of their views or affiliations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create Visual Content: Regularly design graphics and other visual content that enhances the user experience and complements the written content on the site.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure that all created content aligns with the site’s brand identity and guidelines, contributing to a cohesive visual narrative across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with the content and moderation teams to understand their visual needs and translate them into compelling designs.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies, incorporating them into your designs where appropriate.

Expected Conduct:

  • Creativity: Bring fresh and innovative design ideas to the table, helping the site to stand out and engage its audience.
  • Attention to Detail: Apply meticulous attention to detail to all designs, ensuring high-quality and error-free output.
  • Communication: Clearly explain your design choices when necessary, providing rationale and referencing specific design principles.
  • Time Management: Manage your workload effectively, ensuring that all design tasks are completed in a timely manner.
