  1. While Jesse Debrah is a talented player, we need to move on from those we didn’t sign and concentrate on the players we have or can still acquire. There are plenty of skilled players available.
  2. Exeter doesn’t seem to take the EFL Trophy as seriously as we do. I wonder if there’s a random fan out there grumbling about their manager and his lack of interest in the competition. After a 9-0 loss, they’d have every reason to.

Hello, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham community. It's a good site here, @Benji. You should enjoy it.
  4. Hello, @Ryan Raynor. It's great to be welcoming you to the site.
  5. What an impactful narrative! Adam embodies the resilient spirit of Notts fandom. I was particularly moved by his ability to seek solace in our beloved club during tough times. The emotional depth in his experiences resonates with fans like us, and it's stories like these that affirm why we love football and especially Notts County.
  6. A strong performance against Salford would certainly lift spirits and keep Notts in a favourable position ahead of the weekend’s matches. The sound of Notts fans proclaiming our top-of-the-league status would indeed be priceless.
  7. While the statistics may be intriguing, they can seem pointless and appear to be quoted arbitrarily. Luke Williams doesn’t intentionally set his team up for defeat; it’s just that most games have unfortunately been part of this farcical competition.
  8. This season is a thrilling ride, largely thanks to Kyle Cameron. His equalising goal against MK Dons was more than just a score; it showcased his skill, determination, and clutch performance. As the match neared its end, Kyle delivered a stunning goal. His parents must be replaying his fantastic goal with pride. For us Notts County fans, we relish these moments and anticipate more, reminding us of our love for the game.
  9. Defensively, at least for their goal, we were very poor. Yes, Connell Rawlinson should have gone with the ball, but who was covering otherwise? Aaron Nemane can’t be blamed, although perhaps he should have gotten back into a defensive position more quickly. I thought MK Dons did well to close the space behind the ball; we almost invited it and tempted fate on more than one occasion. Don’t misquote me; I think we played well, but the talking point of this game must be improving our focus on defending plays.
  10. Aidan Stone made some crucial saves to keep Notts County in the game. Top performance from the keeper!
  11. Exeter City 2-0 Leyton Orient Stevenage 1-1 Carlisle United Accrington Stanley 0-2 Mansfield Town Colchester United 0-1 Tranmere Rovers Forest Green Rovers 0-0 Crewe Alexandra AFC Fylde 1-0 Aldershot Joker Bromley 0-1 Maidenhead United Woking 0-0 Solihull Moors
  12. Yes, I agree. Oxford United fans need to lower their expectations and be patient because when Ruben does his magic, they will appreciate him as much as our fans did. They can’t expect a player who has been playing in the Non-League to suddenly start performing to the standard of their current squad; this type of thing always takes time.
  13. If I am not mistaken, this will be the first game of Notts that Sky has aired. I would have thought that the Grimsby or Tranmere Rovers match would have been appealing to them. However, it’s good to know that the Mansfield game will be live. It will be a good payday for the club.
  14. It's refreshing to see the humbleness in Williams' acceptance of this nomination. He hits the nail on the head when he says it's a reflection of the whole team's performance.
  15. Reading about the signing of Macari has slightly changed my view on it. If he’s as competitive as Luke suggests, the team's dynamism will continue to soar!
  16. All signs point to an intensely competitive match ahead. MK Dons look set to put up a serious challenge. Alexander’s acknowledgement of the consistency factor and the importance of clear decision-making is something that shouldn't be taken lightly. That’s the mark of a professional team, sticking to their guns and it seems like his team does just that. I hope Notts can prevail and come back with the point(s) needed.
  17. I would be content with a draw in this game away from home. The next couple of fixtures after this one should be areas where Notts could pick up more points and solidify their position at the top of the table. A win, however, would make me feel very happy and even prouder than I already am seeing us at the top of League Two. I am hopeful that Luke Williams will spring a few positive surprises which MK Dons might not be expecting and therefore won’t have planned for. Not that he needs to make any changes, mind you. His tactics have been working well so far and the team has been performing consistently. But a few surprises could give us the edge we need to secure a win and continue our momentum. Regardless of the outcome, I am confident that Notts will continue to perform well and make us proud.
  18. I am just glad that he has not dropped to League Two. I could imagine that is where he could have ended up. Good luck to Fleetwood with staying up in League One. I quite like a day trip to Blackpool when playing them.
  19. Rest in Peace, Ian Hamilton. He was a good player and a firm part of what made West Brom good in the 90s.
  20. @super_ram It has already become a managerial merry-go-round. I would understand if we were a few more months into the season because by this stage plenty of managers would be in the same boat, but really, are there better options out there at this point?
  21. It’s exhilarating to see Notts leading the pack. Big cheers for our warrior Langstaff!
  22. It’s good to see Notts at the top of the table. It reinforces the belief in back-to-back promotion, but while I am happy, I am still cautious. It will take a lot of hard work to maintain this position and continue to perform at a high level. The team will need to stay focused and determined in order to achieve their goals.
  23. No doubt, he supports Arsenal. I don’t see a person banging their head on the table; that would have been a United fan. It’s always interesting to see how fans of different teams react to their team’s performance.
  24. I wouldn’t say that Notts are a slow side either. When they get a grip of the game, they can demonstrate a lot of speed and determination. It would be interesting for someone with time to investigate further how the person who came up with this managed to achieve these results. I bet it’s misinformed! Notts are a very enjoyable team to watch when they are performing well, showcasing their skills and teamwork on the field.
