  1. Welcome to PON!
  2. I'm happy we are signing players who are strong leaders, I felt like we was missing that last year and now with mcgoldrick gone who I thought was one of the better leaders of the team it's good to see we are bringing in someone who might be able to help fill that role in the team.
  3. I hope he performs well for us but tbh the jump from national league north to the national league seemed very big in quality of players and teams. I feel like to go up two leagues he might struggle but I hope he proves me wrong.
  4. I thought this was one of the best performances we have had in a long time, on the attack we looked like we could just keep scoring and defensively we looked like we were never conceding. Sadly we did but on the replay it looked like it was close to being blocked anyway. Overall I think the players put in a great performance and if we play like that all season we could be pushing for promotion.
  5. Welcome to pon @samantha louise.
  6. Welcome to pon @Laura Cameron.
  7. Welcome to pon @magpiemad.
  8. We played well at first especially with that early lead but we didn't manage to hold it and quickly fell apart in the second half, we definitely missed Jodi Jones but I think our defence wasn't our biggest issue as Baldwin and Rawlinson where making some good challenges, I feel like our big issue was how easy we were giving the ball away in the midfield allowing them to attack more often than we should of let them. The corners where obviously a big issue too but I feel that came down to confidence after throwing away the other goals.
  9. So far we've been by far the better team with some good chances and a decent goal too. Hopefully we continue to dominate in the second half. I thought their striker would pose more of a threat but tbh he doesn't seem to understand how to get his head on the ball.
  10. Welcome to pon @JOHN BOND
  11. Welcome to pon @Laura Griffin
  12. I think we was by far the better team although we let them back into the game after our first goal. We definitely played better in the second half and should have scored more than 3 in my opinion. But a good win and top of the table is everything I could have asked for.
  13. I believe we have just as good of a squad as they do so I guess it's all down to who turns up wanting to win really as whilst I believe we could easily do it I don't know whether our defence will be switched on or not.
  14. I'm here at the game and the ground seems nice, although I can't tell if it's just because of where I'm sat but the pitch looks a little short, so I wonder if that will affect how we play.
  15. I do think we played very well, although we definitely need to work on not giving so many goals away, I think Crowley started off very quite and was a main culprit for passing the ball backwards with almost no need but after half time he came on a completely different player and those crosses could have easily led to a goal.
