Notts County’s Coach Luke Williams on Adam Chicksen: ‘He Brings So Much Intensity to the Team’
Every word that Williams uttered rings true. The lack of urgency in our recent play is concerning. As fans, we demand the vigor, the spark. But it's not all doom and gloom, we have good reason to remain optimistic. The return of Chicksen could serve as a catalyst to change our fortunes for the better. Hoping for better days ahead for Notts County!

Notts Alumni: Ben Davies
This is a fantastic overview of Ben Davies’ career. He was an exceptional player for Notts and enjoyed a prosperous career. I’d categories him as a specialist in set pieces, a skill that seems to be fading in the modern game. It’s rare to find players at our level who can deliver a quality ball from any position. His dead ball skills were also a standout feature.

Luke Williams on Notts County’s Game Plan Against AFC Wimbledon
It's interesting to see how much emphasis Williams puts on the need for Notts County to maintain their intensity throughout the full 90 minutes against such a formidable team as Wimbledon. He understands that it's not simply about starting the game strong but about maintaining that strength and tenacity until the final whistle. I think this emphasis on performance endurance is going to be critical, not just for this match but for the season ahead.

Notts County’s Fan Forum Reveals: The Intricacies of Recruitment, Stadium Enhancements, and Fan Connection
The stadium enhancements sound thoroughly exciting, particularly the discussion on improving obscured views and potential pitch improvements. A modernized stadium could significantly augment match-day experiences and create a better atmosphere for both fans and players. Moreover, the forums emphasis on fan-connection is commendable. In an era where clubs often seem detached from their fan base, this mutual engagement feels refreshingly genuine and heartening. Conclusively, the forum discussion certainly does encapsulate why Notts County is such a cherished club.

Dan Crowley on Notts County’s Performance: Brilliance, Blitz, and Room for Improvement
What a game! Our lads put in an amazing first half, and while the second half didn't quite match up, it was heartening to hear Crowley openly acknowledge this issue. It’s clear that though we're celebrating a brilliant win, there's a strong commitment to refining our game even further. Full credit to Dan Crowley for his performance and for highlighting areas for improvement. His humility coupled with his talent is why I believe he's becoming indispensable to Notts County. Can't wait for the future matches!

Facing the Unknown: Luke Williams on Preparing for a Transformed Bradford City
The acknowledgement of the strengths of top-performing clubs speaks volumes about Williams' character. It also shows his understanding that building a successful football team requires meticulous planning and foresight, rather than just reacting to the here and now. Exciting times, for sure.

Notts County: A Tale of Two Novembers
Thinking about Tommy Lawton's debut, it really was a remarkable moment in our club's history. His debut goal and subsequent influence perform as brilliantly as a beacon for the younger generation of footballers, showing that even if you are with a Third Division team, your skills and talent can shine bright. His advocacy for better pay also brings to light his integrity and care for his fellow players. This is why he's an icon, not just for his on-field prowess, but also for his off-pitch care and concern. Tommy, we salute you!

Defying Speculation: Luke Williams’ Commitment to Notts County
As a long-time supporter of Notts County, I've seen many coaches come and go. But Luke Williams is different. His connection with the club goes beyond the professional level, it's personal. He's not just our coach, he's one of us. He understands the club, its history, its values, and most importantly, its fans. His decision to stay, despite the interest from other clubs, speaks volumes about his character and commitment. Here's to many more successful seasons under his leadership!

Where are they now : Adam Coombes
He looked capable, but I can't say why he didn't step up more often. I remember hearing that he struggled with fitness, but that can't be the only reason. It's a shame, because he had a good record at Chelsea's youth academy.

Dan Gosling's Arrival Infuses Notts County with Experience and Excitement
Incredible news about Gosling! His influence extends beyond the pitch. I am eager to see how he, with his depth of experience, impacts the other players, especially those transitioning from National League to League Two. This could be the start of us seeing more strategic signings like this!

Notts County Welcomes Premier League Veteran Dan Gosling
The signing of a player of Gosling's experience and caliber sends a clear signal about Notts County's ambition this season. His proven track record at the highest levels of English football and leadership attributes complement perfectly the culture we’re developing at the club. This is certainly an exciting time for us fans and I can't wait to see Gosling in action!

‘Fans Are the Heartbeat of the Club’: David McGoldrick Acknowledges Notts County Supporters
It really shows the resilience of McGoldrick and by extension, Notts County. It’s inspiring to see how a setback like a surprising defeat to Mansfield can become a stepping stone for progress rather than a stumbling block. It takes a good leader to have such a refreshing perspective in challenging times and we're lucky to have McGoldrick at the team.

Match Discussion: Game 14 - The Gills (A)
It would be good to start winning again, but I know Gillingham are a strong team. They want to get promoted, so it will be interesting to see how the match goes. If Notts can play well, I think we should win, but that means the team needs to turn up and work hard. There are no easy games for either team, but we need to see Notts play aggressively again. It would be good for them to focus on the result and work towards it.
-
Match Discussion: Game 10 - The U's (A)
The performance wasn't bad, but the defending and Aidan Stone's passing were the problems. I think Luke Williams should tell the players not to always try to play the ball out from the back. I can see when it is useful and effective, but when a team presses and tries to win the ball, it can lead to problems. Look at the playoff final against Chesterfield. They came out trying to score early and it caused us problems. I don't know why we can't identify these problems before they become a problem, like we saw against Colchester United.
-
Luke Williams on Notts County’s Performance against Colchester United: ‘Not Entirely Poor’
It wasn't a terrible performance, but if we couldn't score goals, it would have been. Aidan Baldwin struggles if Notts can't control the game. I think it's unfair to pick on him, but I was disappointed with his passing. Usually, he is a good passer. All the defenders need to improve their game.

Luke Williams Reveals Strategy for Upcoming Clash Against Colchester United
Luke Williams’ careful study of opponents is commendable. His refusal to underestimate teams based on league rankings is a lesson for others. His strategy reveals his analytical thinking and focus on key game-changing factors - adaptability and tactical skill. However, the 4-3 loss to Colchester shows that there’s room for improvement, particularly in defence. Losing isn’t the end of the world, but it’s a reminder that we need to be defensively sound. As a fan, I share Williams’ view that Colchester can be a tough opponent. I hope his understanding and planning lead to a Notts County victory in future games.

Mark Stallard on Notts County: ‘Cutting Out Individual Errors is Point Number One’
Stallard's point about individual errors really struck a chord with me. Watching the game, I can't help but tense up every time the opposition mounts an attack, knowing our defence might falter. It's time for us to strengthen up in the back, without compromising on our attacking might.
-
Match Discussion: Game 9 - The Green (H)
I believe Forest Green Rovers weren’t adequately recognised for their potential before the match. They began energetically and forced Notts to earn their lead. Scoring goals before half-time was an ideal situation, but it quickly turned sour as Notts’ performance deteriorated. Everything seemed challenging until they scored their first goal, and even then, our counterattacks weren’t as potent as they could have been. The 2-2 draw was a wake-up call for Notts, and thankfully, the team responded positively thereafter. However, it was disheartening to concede a penalty. I may not be an expert, but deciding to trip someone in the penalty area seems ill-advised. Connell Rawlinson should be regretting that decision, rather than engaging with fans on social media. All the hard work put in by the team was nearly undone. Yes, it was entertaining, but if we’re discussing improvements and game-changing moments, we need to acknowledge that allowing the opposition to play freely can invite danger.

Luke Williams Reflects on Notts County’s Nail-Biting Win
I think it's meaningful that despite a win, Williams and the team are focusing on lessons from the game. Every game provides an opportunity to assess and grow; winning doesn't erase the need for that. Remembering strengths and applying them, maintaining intensity, and managing games better are all areas flagged by Williams for growth. It shows the dedication to improvement which will undoubtedly lead to more developed performances and further victories. This relentless pursuit of perfection is indeed the hallmark of a formidable team.

Dan Crowley on the Rigorous Preparation that Fuels Notts County’s Performances
I'm extraordinarily impressed by the way Notts is consistently upping their game and driving themselves to perform better. The high standards they set for themselves manifest in their relentless preparation and training routine, and the 'no-excuses' mindset has almost become a mantra for success. When Crowley spoke about the team focusing on vitally important game elements like crossing and positioning, it really highlighted the holistic approach they're taking to improve their game. The players' confidence that they can outrun any team exhibits the significant psychological impact their rigorous training has had.
