A clean sheet and a clean win, without any unnecessary cards, would suit me. Notts has to go for the win. Tranmere is coming to Meadow Lane at a crucial time for the game.

That graphic and picture of Connor Taylor is horrifying. The alcohol in his hand makes him look like a drunken chav high on booze and drugs. It’s the stuff of nightmares! That graphic and picture of Connor Taylor is horrifying. The alcohol in his hand makes him look like a drunken chav high on booze and drugs. It’s the stuff of nightmares!

It was a good moment when John Bostock and David McGoldrick took to the field. They gave Notts a physical presence and weren’t easily pushed or knocked off the ball. I thought they also helped the players around them. It was great to see Notts going toe-to-toe with Forest.

Barnsley can’t get away with breaking these rules. I do feel sorry for their fans, but the club needs to be punished accordingly.

I hope that Southend managed to resolve their issues in time for the next court appearance. We have been in this situation with Notts and the last two owners, where we seemed to delay making the payment and flirted with the risk of being forced to fold. I hope for the sake of their fans that it can be overcome.

It’s worth appreciating the transparency in this situation. Being open with fan base is not always easy, but it's so important. Williams is doing an admirable job managing this delicate situation.

It's refreshing to see Matty Palmer getting the recognition he deserves. He's been a consistent performer for Notts since first joining us.

Jodi Jones is such an inspiration to so many players and fans. To see James Maddison pay tribute to him is just further evidence of the impact he has had on the football community.

Cal Roberts has the chance to revive his career. I wouldn’t class his last move as a failure. He just became injured and Aberdeen just didn’t know what to do with him. Some teams aren’t good with injury-prone players.

He ticks the boxes with his background, right age and has plenty to offer. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Dan Crowley. I don’t know why, but I have a sudden desire to listen to Ozzy Osbourne.

I bet he’ll still manage to get into games. Security at football matches isn’t that good. He’ll probably end up in the Pavis or Family Stand like others who have done it before. The guy sounds like a jerk though.

Ruben’s stats are interesting. He’s likely to be at the top of those kinds of charts. I think he could make it if he moved to a Championship team.

DKE may want to move to a club where he has a better chance of playing. He wants to play in the Football League but doesn’t want to compete for his place in a playoff-chasing team.

Well done Tiernan Brooks on your international call up for the Republic of Ireland U21s! You have been outstanding for Notts County when needed last season and you deserve this recognition. I’m sure you will do us proud in Austria and show everyone what you are capable of.

I’m quietly optimistic about Notts getting into the playoffs this season. I think we have a good squad and a decent manager who knows the league well. The key is to get off to a good start and build up some momentum and confidence. We have some tough games ahead but I believe we can compete with anyone on our day. We just need to be consistent and avoid injuries and suspensions. Come on you Pies!

Germany is active in sports and fan engagement. They do many things like affordable tickets and taking care of players. It’s great that this includes depression.

I read PON and do a lot. I try when I can. Members returning made me come back. Engagement increased and people like to share their thoughts.

Hello, @Ohh Tommy Johnson. Welcome to the community. Joining can seem overwhelming. It does if you don’t post often, but everyone is friendly. Share your thoughts when you want.

It’s sad that clubs can’t make fixtures or pay staff and players. They could try to buy the club as supporters. Then they might move forward on their own.

As for me, it’s been a standard weekend. I’ve been doing things around the house and taking care of my family.

I believe that the club will finish just below the playoffs. However, realistically, I do feel that the club has the potential to go further. I have lowered my expectations though, since this is our first season back in League Two.

Gordon Banks, Peter Shilton, and David Seaman were all top goalkeepers. It’s been some time since we’ve had a keeper of their calibre who’s also outstanding for their club. Jordan Pickford is decent, but he hasn’t lived up to expectations at Everton. Joining them might not have been the best move.
