Opposition View: How Fleetwood Town’s New Signings Could Impact the Notts County Game
I appreciate Tom’s answers. Some could have been more detailed, but I understand it’s early in the season. Relegation can be dreadful, as we Notts fans know, but Fleetwood have a good chance of doing well and could be one of the teams fighting for a playoff place.

I’m content to toss a bit of cash towards the donations now and again. The subscription aspect seems like a very efficient method to ensure the site receives regular assistance to cover expenses and so on. I commend those members who have subscribed, as I’ve mentioned, I’m pleased to contribute.

The Notts County Squad 2024/25
While there’s scope for more players, I anticipate that the new signings will likely be more of squad players rather than first-team competitors. I’m fine with this, as long as we sign a striker. We’re quite thin in that area, and a good signing would boost our confidence.

Match Discussion: PSF - The Minstermen (A)
I don’t pay much attention to friendly matches, and the results don’t concern me. My focus is on understanding how the team is shaping up. Despite a 2-2 draw, I see more positives than negatives. Notts demonstrated some excellent football against a respectable York team. I believe that with a few more players and the starting 11 finding their footing, we’ll be in a strong position by the season’s end.
-
Macaulay Langstaff Watch.
Friendlies are like this for new strikers stepping up. It seems Millwall are focusing on integrating him into the first team. Once he's on the same level as his teammates and they create chances for him, he'll score.

Welcome Midfielder, Jack Hinchy
I'm not sure what to make of the signing. It's good that we've signed a defensive midfielder, but I'm not sure if he'll be pushing to start. I could be pleasantly surprised, but either way, he will have my support.

Welcome to Notts, Kellan Gordon
It's good to see another player join us. He sounds ready for a challenge, which is great. We now have two players from Crawley, and let's hope they can help us get back to League One.
-
Mahovo joins Norwich
There are two sides to this. Developing talent that brings in money is excellent, but producing players who become regulars in the first team is even better. I'm pleased he's made a good move, but I wish we had a homegrown academy player in our starting 11.
-
Sorba Thomas, Huddersfield Town to Nantes?
If he has attitude problems, stepping up will be harder. He will need to put in the effort and make sure he does what is needed. Sometimes, that's not in his own interest but the team's.

The Nest/Fan Zone: Update.
It will be nice to see the facilities under normal circumstances and not just for the Euros. It will be impressive to see them packed with our own fans.
-
Netherlands v England: Pre & Post Match Analysis.
It's a good chance to reach the final. Spain aren't the team they were a few years ago, but whoever wins between England and the Netherlands will have a good chance to make it to a strong final.
-
Kyle Cameron. Should he have stayed?
I believe they will sign him once his contract ends. I would be surprised if there's a recall option in his loan deal. I think the club has agreed to part ways. Notts wouldn't get much for him, and unhappy players can cause problems in the team.
-
Kyle Cameron. Should he have stayed?
I comprehend his choice to depart. He’s been with us for a considerable time and things are evolving. To improve oneself, it’s necessary to embrace new experiences. Part of avoiding complacency is challenging oneself instead of merely accepting the status quo. There’s also a lack of assurance regarding playing time. He’s made the correct decision. The question remains, should Notts have sold him instead?

If Macaulay Langstaff leaves
Macaulay Langstaff and Cedwyn Scott formed a successful pair at Gateshead. However, we don’t utilise Scott in the same manner. I believe it’s inevitable that Langstaff will be sold at some point, but the handling of this situation is crucial. If the club has intentionally sold him to boost season ticket sales and, of course, the captaincy, then it’s a significant own goal.

Tiernan to Gateshead?
People often take tweets as truths. As of now, I see no basis to trust it since no official announcement has been made. I don’t believe there’s a significant opportunity for him in the first team, but he could potentially be a future asset. If he’s left, I can accept it. However, if he’s still here, a loan might be a more sensible choice given our other alternatives.
-
Tiernan to Gateshead?
It would be a letdown if the club, which seemed to be grooming him for the future, didn’t give the lad a fair chance. I hope this isn’t true, as it would be quite disheartening.

Meadow Lane Revamped: Notts County Unveils Premier League-Standard Pitch
Absolutely delighted to read about the upgrades at Meadow Lane. Notts County has long deserved these improvements, Matt Hallam's comments on the drainage issues were enlightening, and it's great to know those problems are now behind us with a state-of-the-art system installed. The addition of undersoil heating, even if it’s not yet connected, is a smart move for the future. This overhaul is not just about a new pitch, but about positioning Notts to host significant events and ensuring a top-tier playing surface for years to come. A huge thank you to the groundstaff and the board for making this possible.

Issue with some England fans
England supporters could learn from Scottish fans, who show unwavering passion and support for their team. Criticising in such a public manner is all too common among England fans. They need to consider the effects of their words. The team’s uninspiring performances are a let down, and Gareth Southgate needs to broaden England’s approach beyond a narrow, defensive mindset.

Another incoming from Crawley
Securing this player is a remarkable achievement. It’s a testament to our ambition that he would choose us over a team moving up to League One. I’m hopeful we’ll bring in a few more players to bolster our squad. With added depth, we’ll be well-prepared to face the challenges of League Two.
