Ian Burchnall adds experienced English Football League midfielder Matt Palmer to the Notts County ranks
A box to box midfielder is exactly what is needed, hopefully his EFL experience brings some creative flair to this level. It's an impressive signing.

Former Manchester City and Rangers wide man Aaron Nemane joins Notts County
Impressed by this signing, keep him fit and look after the lad. Notts will reap their rewards!
-
Notts County's Cal Roberts shares fitness update after return to training
It looks like he's learned his lesson, the lad just wants to play. If he can stay fit for the most part of the season, Notts should be doing something right.

Notts County defender Connell Rawlinson signs brand new 2-year-deal
In the middle of the back 3 defenders, I think it would suite him more. Good to see him extend his stay!

Match Discussion: Game 43 - The Bees (A)
Performance was excellent and the result even better, its good to see the smiles on the players faces. 5 massive games remain, beating then 2nd place and bottom of the table it would be good to see things end well this season.

Match Discussion: Game 42 - The U's (H)
No quills about DKE being sent off, it happens but it was a point in the game that could have tipped the game in the balance of Sutton. Notts played better better with 10 men than they at times this season with 11.

Maisie-Grace Titherley: An appeal
Supported. ????????

Match Discussion: Game 22 - The Terras (A)
Good win for Notts, there's something to build on now but with the uncertainty of the league looming over. Will this be another false dawn? Great goal by Sam, if he meant to shoot or if it was a pass it brought all 3 points home.

Notts County manager Neal Ardley continues to access transfer targets
Centre-Back and a stronger experienced midfielder than Wolfe please.

Match Discussion: Game 12 - Daggers (A)
Dagenham & Redbridge are the type of team you don't really know which of their team will turn up, their in poor form but that sometimes means little. Being at home you would have to believe they'll be up for it more. I think this will be a 1-2 to Notts win. Walker and Doyle to score.

Match Discussion: Game 10 - The Spireites (A)
Notts never does well against a side that has sacked their manager, the curse needs to be broken but I don't see it happening.

Coronavirus
Junior school is vital to a child's development but what is learned can be taught by any responsible person. Provided that checks are made to see if the child is progressing. I would say I don't feel there is any need to send them to school during a lockdown. Teenagers in compressive school have a much more serious curriculum. That is important but ensuring that the guidelines are followed by them does seem harder, as they will be more inclined to spend time with their friends and mix with others. Younger children can be guided by teachers, at the older ages you see more rebellion and unruly behaviour.

I can see clearly now (a positive blog, I think.....)
Don't dwell on what you can't change @Chris, in the eyes of most Notts fans you're a champ! Considering all you do with your own struggles.

Match Discussion: Game 7 - The Shots (A)
@Super_Danny_Allsopp Keep the faith though. Notts has a good squad and Neal Ardley isn't the type to just allow himself to get the sack so easily. I just write games like this off as a bad day at the office, if we lost 6 in a row or something I might be more inclined to be more annoyed. No manager at this level is perfect, I have faith that the next match will be better provided the club doesn't get rid of him.

Match Discussion: FA Cup 4th Round Qualification: The Linnets (A)
Due to Altrincham the club now has to miss the FA Cup which could've provided financial benefits, and have to sit out the recent progress in match form due to the 2 weeks break. If any of the squad will be training, focus on fixing the defence and set piece issues.
-
Match Discussion: Game 5 - The Magpies (H)
It might be done on the day. I agree that Neal Ardley won't allow the team to go into this game overly confident, but being at home it would be more encouraging. The grass allows for slick football, the players are used to it and I generally think it will be a better game for this reason.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The U's (A)
94+ minute, Kyle Wootton does the unexpected! Did anyone really think this game would end up 1-0 to Notts after 90 odd minutes? I did not. Very happy with the result.

Match Discussion: Game 4 - The U's (A)
Away from home Notts does need to be more lethal. Sutton having won every game before, I do not see as a concern, Barnet was labelled a tough game and the team played well enough to take the points. It will be done to working hard enough on the day.
-
Match Discussion: Game 2 - The Robins (H)
Tactically, Notts have to be spot on tonight. With the cameras at Meadow Lane for BT Sports, a poor performance or result could lead to further people being put off from watching. I would stick with the same starting line up, see if things can be improved on. Then rest certain players for the weekend.

Match Discussion: Playoff final - Sulphurites
I don't know about anyone else, I don't fear Harrogate and neither should the Notts squad. Nothing taken away from them for reaching the final, both teams have been superb but I have faith in the quality of the squad. I can see them changing their tactics in game, as they try to suss us out.
-
Match Discussion: Playoff semi-final - The Bees (H)
I just want to see the squad represent the club proudly on TV, fight for the ball and give it their best.

The forgotten Cup run
Only glimmer of sunshine was the cup run.

Coronavirus
I can see it continuing for a few more months, too many flaunting the guidelines I am afraid.

Notts Season in Focus: 1997-98
That season is a special one, the squad did well to win the league. 1998 is also the season when Jermaine Pennant left to sign for Arsenal, we had a friendly against them. My tash had a little sniffle reading this, it's fine, honestly! ????

Notts Player in Focus: Kyle Wootton
Over time Kyle Wootoon has shown there's more to him than just his size or strength, he's a very good footballer, his control and first touch always amazes me. Signs are promising with him, good write up Simon.
