I would want to think Notts could put on a good performance but the recent performances and lack of confidence makes me feel that this won't be a wise move. Lincoln will be watching our two two away games and think they have won it before we kick a ball.

I'm disappointed, Notts have thrown away a good run of fixtures and we have given THE POINTS a way. Tonight was a joke, something needs to be done. Losing this way is not acceptable and I'm getting tired of this poor attitude.

If it's true that Kevin Nolan has spoken to each player, I would certainly expect a response from them. I'm just hoping they can get the first win but I do agree a draw seems likely.

And KN needs to get the defenders to act responsibly, they are paid good money to perform and its time that the awful start is corrected.

I think Newport might try to bully Notts and make the game physical, if things get messy I can see us being the team that suffers. Several of the Notts players react badly. At the moment I don't think I can call the score but I am nervous.

He impressed me until the defence turned to **ap. His confidence seems to deflate easier than Ross Fitzsimons concedes goals. Did anyone else see the noticeable difference? He stopped taking on players, he just seemed to drift into the corners and end up giving the ball a way.

Yeah the defence. The game was winnable that's the annoying thing for me but the awful defending cost the club from doing that.

I can relate @Chris, just try to think of something else Kevin Nolan will sort it.

I have a good feeling tonight, I think Notts will win 2-0. Hopefully they can put on a good display, get the crowd going and we can all enjoy Meadow Lane under the floodlights.

This might be a little overkill, just see how he reacts. I think some people would be like "right, this here is my excuse sod them". He should apologise, I don't care about what he says but when he offends a young fan that is out of order.

I think you need to calm down, your reply here isn't acceptable. Mark Stallard mentioned how Middlesbrough didn't have to work hard for their goals, this would mean that the defence made it easy. It's not for you to make outlandish remarks every time you disagree with someone. Please edit your offending post and apologise.

At least it's the cup, if Notts do get knocked out they can focus on the league. I hope they start to lift because at this rate people will start calling for Kevin Nolan's head.

I feel like I'm having a nightmare. I am not sure which PON member said it but I think a much harder run of fixtures would have been better. The players look capable of doing something special but at the same time the defence looks rubbish under pressure. 3-2 isn't the worst result but it's a negative one.

Fitzsimons Tootle Duffy Hall Kellett Hewitt Enzio Vaughan Thomas Dennis Hemmings This is my squad and lineup, if Thomas struggles through on Jones into his position. Give Kellett a chance to start, see if he can bring something different to the squad.

I still think we need a bit of experience in key areas such as goal and centre midfield. striker, right back, left back, winger can all be young.

I would buy one if they was worth reading in the first place, I hope the club does improve them because I would purchase one.

Why did you join prideofnottingham.co.uk? I don't remember what prompted me to join but I had been reading the site for awhile before I did. What is your main highlight of being a member? I would say I am more a background member, I post and try to join in but I have not been as involved. How much have you seen PoN grow during your time? The site seems to grow all the time, it's just sad to see those quiet days and how various members have seemed to disappear. If the team can get more back I do feel PON would thrive. As a community, what would you say are the three core values to PoN and why? Informative, friendly and open for all.

If the players give us something to sing about we should be alright, its just a case of the formation and starting lineup. Fail to win here, we may as well give up.
