  1. Another excellent post.I do feel for you fans at the moment with a promising season falling apart. However it's not too late to still make this a season to remember.Good luck.

    Keith Curle Sacked!

Hughes gone ,Curle gone. The timing of both departures very strange. Now a great responsibilty rests with your chairman. He must now choose someone who can unite players, fans and everyone connected with Notts. The chosen candidate will have a huge job on his hands but if he can lift the team, perhaps get a loan deal in and restore supporters confidence then you could all still have a very good season,Fingers crossed for you all! .
  3. Another cracking post.It makes you realise how much better it is for our teams. It also shows what we fans put ourselves through when our teams are struggling.
  4. Yes,I'm really getting into this site now.As I've said before it's nice to see other fans views and share the ups and downs that all fans experience. Whether you support Manchester United or,to use one of Cloughies favourite sayings,Nottingham Pork Butchers, we all have one thing in common-the great game of football.
  5. No Weymouth you are not a miserable sod ,you are spot on with your rant and have said it all.I can,t add anything to what you say, you,ve said it all and I agree totally.Lets just get on with the season!

    Neal Bishop Interview!

Very nice questions and answers.Good of him to give some of his time to reply with having a new baby.Congratulations to him and Fran and to you for a good post.
  7. Yes,another contributor that I enjoy reading a look forward to. Thanks and keep up the good work.
  8. Another superb article.I really enjoy and look forward to reading the posts on this site and getting to know more about other players and teams well done Joe.
  9. Listened on radio. The match passed surprisingly quickly for me.There didn't seem much threat from either side and I don't suppose the conditions helped.I was a little concerned in the opening minutes but as the match progressed felt that this was a match there for the taking if only Notts had that missing ingredient-an elusive goal scorer. The sending off at the end seems to me to be needless and Notts need to do something about discipline.Players who are suspended are no use to the club. However, 3 points and a new away run started,! plus the possibility of a new signing!Things could be much worse.Ask any Pompey fan.

According to sky Ray Trew has given KC permission to strengthen during transfer window. No further details.
  11. Lovely read again.Hope you don't have a wasted journey but get the win all you Maggie fans want and need.

    Striker poised to sign?

I think he could do a job for you. There may be some other movements in the transfer window now the latest cup matches have been played'
  14. Excellent, informative post.Very disapointing that your away run is over but could it have been different if Arquin's effort had gone in?Still all there to play though!
  15. Yet another interesting post.Nice of opposing fans to give a bit of time to answer the questions.
  16. once again a great post.Combined with the report I heard live on radio from Colin Slater it re-inforces the impression I had of the match.Thanks.
  17. YES i REMEMBER.SURPRISED YOU DID THOUGH AS IT MUST BE ABOUT 15 YEARS AGO.JUST SHOWS THERE ARE SOME DECENT PEOPLE OUT THERE.
  18. Fair comment. As he says onwards and upwards.
  19. I will be listening to the match on the radio hoping Notts can get a home win for once and at the weekend I,ll watch Oldham v Liverpool on tv and hope they cause another cup upset.
  20. Another superb post, written with optimistic humour.Any team that beats Forest is ok in my book.
  21. Great to hear a chairman being honest and open.No flannel or false promises but,as Joe Jones says, saying it as it is.
  22. A very nice read. Not all footballers are greedy.Although he is an opposition goallie he is one I've admired for some time. There is one son who I would love to see emulate his father but not the forest part!!!
  23. Yes,another excellent post.As I've said before, it's great to hear what fans from different clubs have to say, especially when the comments are so balanced.
  24. Not very hopeful of our little match going ahead.Only a few miles for most fans to travel, so expect a late postponement. Not as bad as 1963 for matches off -so far!!!!
  25. How refreshingly honest.Must say I feel for Pompey fans(and any fans in similar situation)No whinging, just accepting facts and getting on with supporting in a positive way.Good luck to you all.
