  1. I don’t think anyone should complain that Jim has signed on for one more year; we should get behind him and be thankful for his contributions because he is a firm part of the team. He has helped in many ways to make Notts the team it is today; that should be remembered.
  2. I think Ruben leaving always seemed likely; when we signed David McGoldrick, I thought it was the sign that he was about to exit. I would have thought he would join a bigger club, but he should do fine for Oxford.
  3. Macaulay Langstaff looks very dashing in his evening wear; you could hardly tell he is a footballer. Soon he will be dining and spending time with high executives when clubs come knocking down Meadow Lane’s door.
  4. Thank you for all you have done for Notts, Ruben. It’s been a pleasure to watch you. I wish you well with Oxford United. Take your time to settle in and show League One what you can do!
  5. Retaining Jim is good; he’s been great since signing for Notts and I also wanted to see him wear our shirts back in League Two. Under different circumstances, a few years later, but still he deserves to see our relegation undone. He was one of the few who tried to save us.
  6. I believe everyone except Ruben Rodrigues will sign. Can you imagine what would happen if all four players re-signed? For those who desperately wanted him to stay, just remember that it may come with increased wages. So please don’t complain if he has an average game, provided he does stay!
  7. ???????????????????? He is a very good striker and a real fox in the box! I was saddened when he left, but I understood his decision as it was life-changing for him.
  8. Personally, I would be inclined to say no thank you. However, if someone at the club wants him and Luke Williams agrees, we have to accept it. I hope it’s just a rumour.
  9. The recent changes at Notts County Football Club have certainly caught the attention of many, including McGoldrick. The club’s efforts to modernise and improve its facilities have been met with excitement and anticipation. It’s always great to see a club moving forward and taking steps to enhance the experience for its players and fans alike.
  10. Last I heard, he owned a bar in Tenerife and had a side hustle selling hair gel for £10. Despite his reputation, he wasn't the worst. At the time, it seemed like a good signing.
  11. Signing an experienced player like David McGoldrick can be valuable for our team's success. Let's support the team and their new addition to reach our full potential.
  12. I believe that bringing in a player with experience could be invaluable for a team, regardless of whether it's a push for automatic promotion, playoffs or even fighting to avoid relegation. In my opinion, there is nothing to lose by signing such a player who could bring composure and guidance on and off the pitch. Therefore, I am highly pleased that the team has decided to take this step and bring in a seasoned player. It's now our responsibility as fans to get behind the team, encourage them and support the new player as they settle in. With a combination of passion and experience, there is nothing stopping our team from achieving its potential.
  13. Fantastic story of a team that has grown from a small club to being a small fish in a big pond. You have to support and like teams like this; such a good underdog story.
  14. Good interview; always enjoy hearing positive words reflecting on Notts. I agree with the sentiments about us being relegated if it wasn’t for Jack Grealish. Instead of Joss, Alan Sheehan would have been a better choice as manager and club captain.
  15. Welcome to the community here at PON, it's good to see you @calw_111.
  16. Jodi Jones is a talented player and I’m excited to see what else he can do for Notts County.
  17. I’m planning to attend all or most of the games this season. I’m also aiming to make it to the majority of away games - there are some clubs and away days that I’ve missed attending. It will be great to be back at League Two level and visit some of the fantastic grounds there.

  20. Hello, welcome to PON @Sirrels County. Join in the fun!
  21. I am glad to see the final few games announced; I was wondering who Notts would face in the final pre-season fixture. I think all should be a good run-out for the players, getting them ready for the new campaign ahead.
  22. Luton’s rise from the National League to the Premier League is a truly remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone involved with the club. It’s a superb accomplishment for their fans who have stuck with them through thick and thin. Congratulations to Luton and their supporters on this fantastic achievement!
  23. I listen to Peter Gabriel and I love his eclectic sound and creative videos. He is one of the most versatile artists of the 80s, with songs like Sledgehammer, Shock the Monkey, and In Your Eyes. I enjoy watching his music on YouTube Music, which offers access to music videos, live performances, interviews, documentaries, and more. YouTube Music offers a visual and interactive way to access music, as it allows me to watch and listen to my favourite artists and songs, as well as to comment and interact with other users. YouTube Music also allows me to create my own content and showcase my musical talents and opinions.
  24. Ricardo Moniz, one must commend the man for his seemingly uncanny ability to secure employment within the European football scene. In comparison, such noteworthy and well-seasoned English managers as Harry Redknapp, Steve Bruce, and Big Sam appear to have achieved rather less in terms of attaining management positions across the top two tiers. It would be truly wonderful to witness Moniz ultimately triumph, reaching a level of success that would allow him to gracefully retire and bask in his accomplishments.
  25. In anticipation of the forthcoming Forest match, it appears likely that it will be played in honour of the esteemed Jason Turner. However, one does hope that the Trophy for Derek Pavis is not utilised on this occasion. The encounter will certainly serve as a commendable showcase of Nottingham's footballing prowess, and it would be rather astonishing if a robust starting line-up were not fielded. Nevertheless, while a fair number of experienced players will undoubtedly feature in the squad, one can expect a significant proportion of fresh, youthful talent to be on display as well.
