It’s an interesting question, one I am unsure about what could be the cause. I do think training has become more demanding, that is a fair point, but at the same time, looking after players has improved. Pitches are much better these days, no longer resembling mud pools, but we still have awful ones like Bradford’s sandy pitch. It does make you wonder.

Dan Crowley has made some good comments in his recent presser. I think a lot of professionals try to make sure they are focused on their performances ahead of transfer talks. Extending a contract might not mean he will see that length out, but not having him under contract means we risk further competition from teams looking for a bargain. The thing is, he’s here now and he’s doing well. Nothing in his performances suggests he will be leaving any time soon.

It does look good for Morecambe, but it should pick up. Not that they won’t be dragged into a relegation battle if they don’t improve beyond just getting results here or there.

I think clubs just have to focus, but with talks at times about creating a super league and people hell-bent on ruining football, there’s no doubt going to be complaints of fixture congestion. I think teams need to balance their squads, but it is mostly just an excuse.

It really is a must-win game. Meadow Lane will be packed with fans, and it is important that we continue to win games on our own soil. I would take a point, but a win would be far more important to keep morale as high as possible. We have the likes of Jones, Crowley, Jatta, and McGoldrick, who, if on their day, are very difficult to play against. Gillingham might have injuries within their squad, but so do we. I think it’s important that Notts tries to maintain a winning record, at least at home. At the same time, I respect how we are unbeaten so far. I hope the players can avoid that come kick off.

At least we are aware of what the injury is and roughly how long it should take to recover. I hope Curtis Edwards heals well and comes back stronger. Best wishes to him during the recovery period. I hope it’s treatable without much hassle.

It’s heartening to see Notts perform like this. Maynard's approach to each game has been refreshing. The team’s diversity in attacking options keeps opponents guessing. The resilience they've shown, especially when coming from behind, is admirable. It’s clear they have a winning mentality instilled in them. The improvements in defence have been crucial as well. With a solid backline, we can take more risks going forward. The upcoming game against Gillingham will be a real test, but with the confidence the team is showing, I believe we can come out on top.

Brilliant interviews with the Gillingham fans, excellent questions too. They seem to share similar thoughts, perhaps because they are mature fans who have been around the club for many years. It provides good insight into what they feel about their team and the upcoming game against them.

Marathon bars, which became Snickers, don’t seem the same now. Zoom ice lollies, Banjo bars with peanuts, Caramac bars, a more recently discontinued snack, and fruit-flavoured Polos, which were a nice alternative to the mint ones. Does anyone remember Pacers?

I don’t think we can ignore the importance of the cup, but we should be careful about fixture congestion and the risk of injuries. It could also affect our form in the league. If Notts can focus properly, it would be brilliant to see us doing well in the FA Cup. Some teams thrive on winning and that can boost their confidence in the league. So, yes, but we need to be mindful of what could happen and make sure it doesn’t overshadow our progress in the league.

It’s been a squad game for years, but Notts have put more focus on having a competitive squad. The players can come in and out, catering for better tactics. There are key players, but at the same time, there are people who can be replaced and rotated. It’s good for Stuart Maynard to have these options.

One of the best. I enjoy Moonraker, but I do like my sci-fi. Roger Moore was also a very good James Bond. I also liked Sean Connery, but I couldn’t choose between them.

Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley are the heart and soul of this Notts County squad. Their determination and skill were evident as they spearheaded the comeback against Bromley. Jones’ quick feet and sharp instincts in front of goal make him a constant menace for defenders. Crowley's intelligent play and work rate provide a solid foundation for our attacks. Stallard's comments about their abilities are spot on. These two are the kind of players who can change the outcome of a match in an instant. It’s thrilling to have such talents in our team. Let’s hope they continue to inspire and lead us to more victories this season.

Marvellous read, points and sentiments I fully agree with. Jodi Jones came across well in his interview and he’s here for the right reasons. His contract signing is a nice thing to wrap up. It shows the squad that we have committed players, so hopefully any others waiting in the wings, such as Dan Crowley, may follow with this news. Good players always want to be a part of a good squad, and it’s obvious if Notts plays their cards right, the club could go somewhere. I like that Jodi is focused on promotion and scoring more goals. His attitude towards assisting his teammates is clear.

Everything you would want to happen did for Notts, except for conceding two goals. It would have been nice for Alex Bass to be able to build on the Accrington game’s clean sheet, but the winning ways do catch on when you feel invincible. I wouldn’t dwell or complain. The response was superb, and not to settle at 2-2, but to score a third and push for a fourth just shows that the squad doesn’t settle.

I do not see Junior Morias being given time. He did when in the spells he featured and scored a very good goal at home. It was a goal out of nowhere. I think he hadn’t long come on. Someone help me out and name the game? I cannot recall it for the life of me.

Well done to the lads for another fantastic performance! Conditions weren’t the best, but the team’s character shone through. Maynard's adjustments were key to turning the game around. Jodi Jones and Dan Crowley were standout performers, but let's not forget the solid defensive work from Platt and others. Four-in-a-row and top of the table says it all. Looking forward to seeing how we fare against Gillingham. Meadow Lane’s going to be buzzing with this form.

I have taken note of what Jodi Jones said in his post-match interview, and I believe his hard work will pay off. The fact that he wants to score more goals will only benefit Notts, but he doesn’t need to reduce his assists. He has both within his ability. Perhaps at times, he just needs to be a bit more selfish instead of always thinking about his teammates. He loves to assist and score goals, so I welcome him to take more chances.

The attendances at Meadow Lane warm my heart. I don’t like seeing the fan base in decline because the club has always had amazing support. Over the years, I have witnessed it dwindle to a very concerning level at one point. I am pleased to see that’s no longer the case now.

I once stumbled into Billy Connolly in London. I had come out of Charing Cross Station and was walking towards Trafalgar Square. It was busy, with people going about their day-to-day lives. I heard a Scottish voice say, “Hello.” I didn’t realise it was Billy at first. His strong Scottish accent asked, “Are you lost? Do you need to find your way?” I knew where I was going, so I responded politely that I was fine. As I continued my journey, he took off his hat and scarf and said I was the first person he had bumped into who didn’t know who he was or wasn’t lost.
