  1. It’s a good interview and very nice to read. Credit goes to Charlie for making McGoldrick relaxed enough to open up a bit further.
  2. It’s almost like a dream, I admit that. What a superb four years we have had, where the focus has been on accountability and improvements. The way the club used its time in the National League has undoubtedly helped us move forward.
  3. James Maddison has made a fine gesture. It’s a very kind thing for him to do for his former teammate and friend. Jodi must be delighted with this and the Notts lads that went to support him must be too.
  4. Any player to come through the Arsenal system has something special. We just need to make sure we see it and get it in his performances on a regular basis. Welcome to Meadow Lane, Dan Crowley.
  5. This seems like one great addition to the squad and the long term replacement for Ruben Rodrigues.
  6. I am surprised to see Cal Roberts drop to the National League North, but Scunthorpe United should look after him. I wish him the very best.
  7. He said, via Twitter that the deal had been completed awhile ago. I would be amused if it was before the Stockport County rumours started, Notts should announce them when it's finalised. It's better for the fans, but great to have Kyle extend his stay
  8. He may not hold the title of captain, but he is undoubtedly the leader both in the dressing room and on the field. It’s fortunate that he has decided not to retire just yet, as his performance last season was impressive. He even earned several Man of the Match awards.
  9. I’m not familiar with him either and I don’t recall seeing his name. I would expect that we are considering players who have had more appearances for their previous teams, particularly at the age of 27.

Hello, welcome to PON. As you can see @MagpieLane. People here say hi and greet you.
  11. I believe it could be a good signing. However, it depends on how we integrate him into the squad. David McGoldrick didn’t have to return to Notts. Let’s give him a chance.
  12. Very good write up, thank you for writing it LesBradd4England.
  13. It’s good to see that Jodi has been called up again for Malta. He’s a class act who will return from his international duty all fired up. Good luck to him in his three games; he should do well against Ukraine.
  14. Hello, from another new member @Bigrossco1862. It's a good place to chat Notts and stuff in general.
  15. I believe the new owners have made significant efforts to restore pride and appeal. The team has also contributed to this improvement. While some may disagree, even Alan Hardy implemented fan-friendly initiatives that helped to recover from the previous turmoil. In my opinion, the club should continue to strive for promotion and always plan for the future.
  16. Welcome to PON, @Stuart jackson.
  17. Having seen how our recruitment has been under Alexander and Christoffer Reedtz, I wouldn’t rule out any player because the club seems to have a knack for signing the unexpected. I think some new faces will come from League One and Two, with most coming from below. I don’t think we need a great deal, just a case of depth and extra faces to cover all the fixtures with the addition of cup games.
  18. I'm absolutely delighted to bits about the upcoming National League season, and I'll be watching it with keen interest. I do wish the best of luck for two to three teams in particular, though I must admit I'm just not rooting for Chesterfield this time around. No hard feelings, just a bit of friendly rivalry!
  19. I think, the squad will soon start to take shape. I also suspect the players are starting to return from their time off. I look forward to seeing news about the other players and, perhaps a few new faces.
  20. I'm new here but have been following this forum for seven years. I find the articles really helpful and interesting, and the discussions are also great. I'm impressed with how knowledgeable everyone is and I'm excited to start participating in the conversations. Despite being skeptical about football forums at first, I'm glad I decided to join in.
