Fans Forum
I am not too bothered about the fans forum. I do not think we will learn much from it, and they often turn into long drawn out events. If you and your mates go along, it can be more enjoyable, but as an event it is not something I find very interesting. I would rather leave it to fans who want to be there.

Notts waiver of loan from Football Radar
This is very good news because it shows again the work the club have done to make things sustainable. By clearing the debt, it means we are now in the best financial position we have been in for years. It is a clear step forward, and I do not think the Reedtz would have done this if they felt more heavy investment was still needed from them. That does not mean they will not put in more of their own money, but it does show they are aiming to make the club stand on its own feet. They want the club to use its own resources well, which should leave us much healthier in the long run.

Rod McDonald’s Form: Too Good to Drop?
It helped a lot that Rod McDonald was playing well before Matty Platt got injured. It made the situation feel less worrying. Platt hadn’t been showing the form we know he’s capable of. When he does come back, there should be less pressure on him to perform straight away. Right now, there’s no reason to take McDonald out of the team. It’s good to see him looking so comfortable in his position.

Martin Paterson Targets Fifth Unbeaten Game as Notts County Prepare for Gillingham
I like how Martin Paterson spoke about the team behind Matthew Dennis’ goals. It shows he values the hard work across the pitch, not just the striker finishing chances. The training culture sounds promising too, with players staying behind after sessions. That sort of attitude should help us improve further, especially in games like the one coming up against Gillingham.

Would I Lie To You?
@Robbie, I reckon the fourth one is your lie. It just seems the least likely out of the bunch. Now we just need to wait for WRM to share his. I’m curious to see what he comes up with. This is quite fun. I enjoy seeing what people choose and trying to guess which one isn’t true. It’s a good way to learn more about each other.

Director of Football: Now You See Him, Now You Don’t
NottsCountyKev commented on allardyces tash's blog entry in Tune in Next Week: The Ongoing Drama of Notts CountyThe departure highlights the problem of consistency behind the scenes. When Montague was here, the signings felt more suited to the way we play. Since then, recruitment has looked scattergun with too much reliance on the loan market. I don’t think it’s a disaster, but it does make you wonder if the Reedtz underestimated how difficult it is to find the right person for this role. Stability comes from more than just patience on the pitch, it needs to start with clear direction off it.

Would I Lie To You?
I'm going to guess that the correct answer is number 3, that you made Ken Dodd laugh. Here are my five facts. I went to school with Mark Draper when he lived in Long Eaton. I was once on the youth team books at Notts. Jimmy Sirrel once came to my school and read the children's book "Gorilla" by Anthony Browne. I once painted and decorated Phil Turner's house for free after losing a bet. The most famous footballer I have ever met was Alan Shearer.

Robin Hood. Was He Real?
There must be some truth in the story, or it wouldn’t have lasted so long. Over time, it’s likely changed a bit, like a game of Chinese whispers, with people adding their own bits to it. Still, it’s something Nottingham should be proud of. It’s part of our history and worth sharing to help bring in visitors and celebrate what makes the city special.

Notts now have a proud record
It’s great to see the club reach this milestone. I’d be interested to know which other team has managed the same. Notts should be proud to add this to the history books.

Martin Paterson Praises Winning Mentality as Notts Beat Fleetwood Town
This was one of those games where you had to grind it out. Fleetwood didn’t come to play, they sat deep and tried to frustrate us. First half we were a bit flat, but second half was better and Dennis took his goal well. Jatta doesn't look that bad but you can see what he’ll bring once he’s up to speed. The subs were the right calls too, fresh legs made a difference late on. Defensively we looked much stronger, still some gaps but nothing like the early games. I’m glad Paterson’s demanding more because he’s right, we should have finished it earlier. A win and a clean sheet feels like a step forward.

Do we need another striker?
I don’t get why we’re sticking with just three options up front. Mai Traore looked more comfortable in attacking midfield than he did as a striker. Away to AFC Wimbledon, he didn’t seem switched on at all. He was walking about like it was his first game. If Alassana Jatta had been fit, I think we’d have had a real chance of taking it to penalties. We definitely need another striker. There’s not enough depth up top.

Martin Paterson Hails Back Line and Second-Half Response at Prenton Park
I thought Paterson’s words about respecting the game summed up the first half. We didn’t force it, stayed patient, and although we made an error, it didn’t collapse us like it might have earlier in the season. The second half was all about reaction and that’s what I loved most. You could see the difference in mentality straight away. The fitness side also stood out, the players looked fresher and stronger as Tranmere threw everything forward. That’s progress you can see with your own eyes. For me, this wasn’t just about the three points, it was about showing that we’re learning from past mistakes and starting to play smarter football.

Changes to NewPie group: Among other things...
I like what I’m seeing. The site is making big steps forward, and I hope it connects with people who want to change how parts of it look. There’s a huge amount of effort going into Pride of Nottingham. It’s brilliant work!
