It’s about people getting along and making everyone feel welcome, which is refreshing to see. Communities are all about this, when you see people enjoying themselves and continuing the conversation, it’s wonderful.

It may not be the largest space, but it could serve well as a fan zone. It’s important that all profits go back to Notts, as this will support improvements in other areas. The club is taking on a very ambitious project.

It’s just like Notts to control the game, keep the pressure on, but then let in a goal. People are making too much of Stuart Maynard’s words about crosses. He might have just slipped up. Jatta might not be the best at handling crosses unless he can bring them down, as he prefers the ball at his feet. Some say he’s not good in the air, but I’d still have given him a chance. I won’t use a stressed head coach’s words to prove a point; it’s not that important. Some of our supporters on social media wouldn’t cope with being in management for even a day.

It’s tough to predict our next victory. The Crawley match is crucial, but if we can’t defend or score, Notts will face difficulties. Starting Jatta and having Macca support him could work. I believe if this area is used incorrectly, it can be a waste of time. There’s no point in taking on players that aren’t up to the mark, it’s all about ensuring whoever comes in is of a good standard. If we can do this with players who we sign permanently, we should be able to do it more often in the loan market, budget permitting.

Maintaining our home form is crucial, as it’s been instrumental in securing our stable position in League Two. Our performance in away games this season has been average at best, while our home games have been largely successful. The team needs to keep this momentum going, not just by putting on a good show against Crewe, but also by securing a win to continue our push for the playoffs. We need a goal to strive towards.

We won’t get a real understanding of Stuart Maynard immediately, so we’ll have to wait and see. I think he’ll want to begin with the best squad possible. If we utilise the ball well, we might be able to return to the form that took us to the top of the league. Let’s be fearless, we can do it.
