  1. It's not a lie when Luke Williams says it's a big step up. We have players who have competed at various levels, and that's all well and good. However, once you lose a few games, the tide of morale can turn, and that can be a difficult thing to overturn when you have a squad of players who blame themselves and want to achieve success more than anything. If we were losing due to incompetence or a lack of care, that would be visible. Yes, we are seeing some howlers, but for me, it's all about adapting back to the EFL.
  2. Some fans only care about the present instead of the future. Football is like every sport. If you win, it's seen as a success, and what isn't is a run exactly like we are facing right now. Luke Williams has never had this uphill fight with Notts. It will take time and commitment. The very least die-hard fans can do is give him their backing and support. Trust goes a long way; 6th at this stage isn't a bad thing. We need to take stock and account of this. I am even more thankful to be back in the EFL.
  3. It was a good shot, but Notts fans should let him play at his own pace without putting too much pressure on him. We all want a player who came up through our youth system and has had a successful career with us.
  4. I don't tend to post as often as I should, but I'll try my best to share updates a few times a week. Keep an eye out for new content!
  5. Good win, no doubt Notts fans will be proud to be top of League Two. It’s bringing a bit of jealousy out from our neighbours, well their reserve fans who sit at home and barely ever see a live game. This squad of Notts players are doing us proud, one disappointing opening game has fuelled the better performances. It’s fantastic! Credit to Luke Williams and the coaches.
  6. From what I have seen, he’s looked good and shown good strength for a younger defender. I am very happy with this loan signing. Ollie Tipton looks like a useful addition to the squad.
  7. Hi, welcome! PON seems a good place to hang @David Shipston.
  8. Hi, welcome! PON seems a good place to hang @Steveyward.
  9. This is great to see. It would be amazing if our academy could be the highlight of our club and produce gems for the first team. Our owners could save a lot of money by having a solid academy that produces real talent. I hope these lads make it, one way or another.
  10. All we can expect is effort; whatever else happens is a bonus. To be honest, I would shout about it if we did win Forest. It would be quite pointless, but I just want to see the players try to impress us. Notts might struggle to match them, but playing attacking football and trying would be a good thing.
  11. The way Dele Alli was treated by Spurs was quite disrespectful. However, many players experience similar things. It’s just harder with him dealing with depression. To be honest, I thought he was going to say the reason was something else that spiralled him into depression.
  12. The backdrop is fine, but the photo could do with one side. It’s the people taking the photos out of frame. After school hours, the club shop will be packed.
  13. Welcome to the community @Kevin May.
  14. I thought more people would be at the Stoke game yesterday, so selling over 5,000 season tickets is a good thing. I don’t see the number getting much higher, but that’s not to suggest it isn’t a good thing. In fact, it’s excellent.
  15. It is evident that Crystal Palace holds great significance to Shaun Derry. Despite being sacked in such a manner, he chose to return to the club so soon. Good luck to him.
