    Love the fact that Platt isn’t getting ahead of himself and talking about the title already. Too many teams fall into that trap and lose focus. He’s right, there’s still loads of football to play, and all we can do is take it game by game. The most impressive thing about this run is how solid we’ve looked at the back. For years we’ve relied on outscoring opponents, but this season we look like a proper, balanced team. Port Vale is a big test, but I have faith in this squad. If we can keep picking up clean sheets and grind out results when we need to, there’s no reason we can’t be in the promotion picture at the end of the season.

    Notts are in such a strong position now. Maynard deserves credit for keeping the squad motivated and competitive, even when we’ve had injuries. You can tell the confidence is sky-high, and players are stepping up when needed. Keeping so many clean sheets is no fluke, it shows how disciplined and committed we are. The key now is keeping players fit because every game from here on is massive. Losing Jones and McGoldrick, even for a short time, could make things tricky.

    Tsaroulla has been a brilliant signing, and you could tell that goal meant a lot to him. His movement off the ball has been excellent, and he fully deserved his moment. I also love his attitude, he’s not just talking about his goal but the team’s defensive improvements and how much the fans push them on. That’s the mentality we need if we’re going to stay in the promotion race.

    David McGoldrick is the player who stood out the most for his performance. He delivered a showstopping display and contributed some fantastic moments during the match.

    I love the mentality Bedeau talks about, taking it one game at a time. We’ve seen how tight League Two can be, and it’s all about consistency. The fact that he and the squad are so focused on the defensive side of things is really encouraging. Last year, we’d have struggled to see out games, but now we’re managing them much better. The home form is massive too, and he’s right, Meadow Lane is a tough place for teams to come. If we can keep making it a fortress, those points will add up quickly. Really impressed with how we’re shaping up, and it’s great to see the players enjoying their football.

    I can see both sides of the coin here. While it’s frustrating to see us struggle without key players, it’s allowed the others to shine. Players like Austin and Gordon may not have made the same impact if they were competing with a fully fit squad. The return of those injured will no doubt push our performance further, but it’s the experience gained during these tough times that could prove invaluable. Maynard’s biggest task will be integrating everyone back into the squad, ensuring both old and new stay motivated. I’m cautiously optimistic about what the rest of the season holds.

    Jack Hinchy’s first goal was a huge moment, not just for him but for the team. His awareness and confidence to take the shot, even after missing earlier in the game, say a lot about his mindset. It’s good to see young players working hard on their craft and seeing results on the pitch. Hopefully, this boosts his confidence, and he keeps adding goals to his game!

    I always wished Notts had kept Shaun Derry as the manager when we were relegated. I think he would have learned from League One and helped get us back up. Anyway, happy birthday to him.

    It takes some players time to settle and find form after injury. While some might be like a new signing, I hope it isn't repeated and that all can steadily return to action. We need their quality to help get the club back on track.

    Brilliant player, even though I never witnessed his magic, I can appreciate what he did for the club. I am sure most fans who did see him play would have him at his best now and in the current team. I am also pleased to see Notts pay respect and tribute to Pedro Richards. It's a shame his son Jordan didn't work out for us.

    Matt Palmer gets my vote for his integral part in how we played going forward and tried to remain organised at the back. I would give a shoutout to Alex Bass. I don't think he played all that badly and was unlucky at times.

    Good luck to the Notts Women's team. It should be a good game, and I will keep an eye out for the final score.

    Neil Warnock wasn’t just a manager, he was a leader and a fighter. His time at Notts County will always be special to all of us. Happy birthday, gaffer!

    At the end of the day, Leicester City’s appointment is their business. We’ve got our own team to support, and if they want to make it easier to return to the Championship so be it. I would just wish them well, as I have no issue with them as a club or their fans, but my focus is on our team. To be honest, I am sick of the silly appointments at the top level and how easily they discard managers. It happens at every level, but up there it usually makes little sense with who replaces each other.

    Hearing Maynard talk about the FA Cup made me nostalgic for some of our classic games. It’s a special competition, and every fan dreams of drawing a Premier League giant. However, Peterborough United is a big challenge. Their pace could be a real problem if we’re not careful. I appreciate how realistic Maynard is about our strengths and weaknesses. The updates on players like Jodi Jones are encouraging, but I hope we don’t rush anyone back too soon. Here’s hoping for a strong performance and a place in the third round!

    It’s been a joy watching Didzy roll back the years this season. He’s the kind of player who elevates everyone around him. You see the confidence he instils in the squad just by how he plays. His first touch and vision are outstanding, and his knack for finding space in crowded areas is second to none. The goals are brilliant, of course, but his contributions are about so much more than just scoring. His defensive work rate is admirable too, tracking back when needed and pressing high up the pitch. To think he’s doing all this at his age is unbelievable. It’s a testament to his professionalism and fitness.

    I really like how Jatta has settled into the team. He’s not the flashiest player, but his work rate is outstanding, and that’s something fans really appreciate. His runs off the ball are clever, and they pull defenders out of position, creating gaps for our other attacking players. It’s clear that the coaching staff see his potential, as he’s been trusted in key games this season. My only concern is whether he can keep improving his finishing. A few more goals would really cement his place in the side. That said, I love his attitude and the energy he brings to matches.

    Alan Judge was a standout player for us during a time when we didn’t have many consistent stars. His technical ability was top-notch, and he had that spark you look for in attacking players. I always thought he had the potential to play in the Premier League, and it’s a shame injuries prevented that. Despite his bad luck, he managed to have a decent career, especially at Brentford, where he was outstanding before his leg break. It’s sad to think about what might have been, but it’s also important to celebrate what he achieved.

    For me, it depends on the games more than on winter. You can combat the cold by dressing warmly and spending time in places where you can stay warmer. I enjoy watching football throughout the months it's played. Each period, where the weather changes, offers something different. The only time winter becomes tough is when Notts aren't doing well. That's a true test of support, but I would always be there, even in the worst conditions.

    I think we all saw the first half was below our usual standard, but the important thing is that the team didn’t collapse. Maynard’s changes, especially bringing Brown on, were spot on. We started to create more chances and, in the second half, it felt like we were more in control. McGoldrick showed nerves of steel with that penalty. Taking three in a row can’t be easy, especially when keepers are doing their homework, but he delivered again. Tsaroulla was excellent on the left, and it’s great to see we can rely on different players in tough moments. A good point on the road and now onto Harrogate!
