  1. Without a doubt, Macaulay Langstaff has been our top striker in recent memory. His departure certainly marks the end of an era, but it also opens the door to new and exciting possibilities. When Kyle Wootton left, we thought it would be a tough void to fill. However, Macca surpassed all expectations and truly made his mark. Now, we place our trust in Cedwyn Scott to carry the torch forward.
  2. It’s heartening to see him join another League Two team. Just like Curtis Thompson, Tom Crawford was undervalued, yet he’s a true gem at this level. His talent is undeniable and we’re excited to see what he brings to the table.
  3. These are indeed positive times for Notts. After the downturn we experienced during our challenging years, it’s heartening to see our numbers on the rise. Each person involved contributes to this success. The community and fans deserve recognition along with the club. Meadow Lane offers a wonderful match day experience. Here’s hoping it continues for a long time and serves as a symbol of our success.
  4. I hope it doesn’t deter him from guarding the box or restrict him in any manner. I comprehend the severity of his injury and wouldn’t hold it against him if it did affect him. He’s a good player, and I’m glad he’s returned.
  5. I’m thrilled with it! I believe that a plain black back will make it simpler to spot the players on the field. It’s something I’ve desired in the past, so I’m content with it.
  6. Welcome @Bertinez. Hope you settle in to the site.
  7. The new home shirt is an incredible blend of tradition and innovation. I think the black kit with white trim provides a sleek and modern look, while the faded stripes give it a unique twist. Notts County and Puma have done a brilliant job with the design. Overall, a job well done!
  8. Connell Rawlinson’s exit marks an era’s end. His heartfelt message shows his deep bond with Notts County. His on-field dedication led us to many victories, including our Football League return. His kind words for the fans reveal his gratitude. We wish Connell the best for his future. His fervour and commitment will be remembered.
  9. Connell Rawlinson’s departure is indeed the end of an era. His message reflects the genuine connection he felt with Notts County, something that doesn’t come around often. He was a stalwart on the pitch, and his contributions helped us achieve so much, including our return to the football league. His words about the fans are touching and show his appreciation for everyone who cheered for him. Best of luck, Connell, on your future endeavours. Your passion and dedication will always be remembered.
  10. So many people are attempting to take legal action over issues that weren’t known at the time. I think Joe Kinnear’s daughter may struggle to prove that people knew injuries would lead to Joe’s death. Where does this insanity end? It reminds me of people trying to sue American gun manufacturers because of deaths caused by their use.
  11. It looks good, but they should have waited to release it when there were fewer bugs. I’m sure it will be tidied up, but it’s currently a bit disorganised in places. The design is satisfactory.
  12. I believe we still require another wide player. I also hope that we recruit more right-footed players. Notts seems a bit too concentrated on having left-footed players, and over time, I think this becomes a disadvantage. So, yes, a right-footed centre-back would be a welcome addition.
  13. Any team that advances could reach the final, but I believe England will need to elevate their game and pace if they aspire to make it to the final. I’m confident that the semi-finals are within reach, but we need to see improved creativity.
  14. Millwall aren’t a particularly appealing club. Macca might find it a bit of a stretch from there to Newcastle. He often returns to his hometown, so I suspect he’d prefer a move closer to home. I’m not overly concerned about Millwall or Swansea City.
  15. It was a pleasant catch-up, and it was nice to hear his opinions on the new arrivals. I would have preferred if this had been done after all the recruitment was completed, but there’s always the possibility that the club will conduct another. I’m curious to know Stuart Maynard’s views on all the new signings. I’m delighted to see him looking cheerful and better prepared!
  16. This is something I wasn’t privy to, it’s lovely to see Hayley Turner representing Notts.
  17. Rod McDonald brings numerous positive qualities to the club. He’s a competent player and his experience will be beneficial at this level. I extend a warm welcome to him at Meadow Lane and hope he acclimatises well.
  18. The pitch looks absolutely stunning, it appears ideal for the style of football we aim to play. Transforming Meadow Lane into a stronghold with such a pitch would be quite remarkable.
  19. Hello, @Up the Maggies. Thank you for taking the time to tell us a bit about yourself. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  20. Notts are bringing in more players from League Two who not only have experience but also the potential to play at a higher level. The team seems poised to develop significantly over the next two to three seasons. It’s an exciting and very positive prospect!
  21. At times, Denmark’s pressure made England defend rather than attack. The pitch was in terrible condition, which really should’ve been sorted out before the match. Still, it doesn’t detract from the match itself; England appeared quite anxious throughout. Hats off to the Danish team.
  22. Happy Birthday @Fan of Big Tone! I hope your day is filled with joy and that it’s just the start of a wonderful year for you. Wishing you all the very best. ????
  23. At this pace, the forthcoming season promises to be as thrilling as watching Juventus, and I’m brimming with anticipation. The club is performing splendidly, laying down unparalleled foundations for Stuart Maynard to excel in his role. I’m hopeful he’ll secure the outcomes needed to propel us forward and ensure a successful season.
  24. If Notts could secure a series of consecutive wins, even if a draw occurs, it would be beneficial. At this stage, it’s crucial to stop the losses. Considering where we are now compared to where the club was, I can understand why some fans want Stuart Maynard out. However, that’s not really the problem. The issue is how we are performing and perhaps someone else could organise the players enough to achieve better results, but we have problems that need to be addressed. Allowing Maynard to assist with this, while making the most of what we can from this season, will be more advantageous for the club in the long run.
  25. I’m really happy to be a member and I enjoy having meaningful chats and debates about Notts. It’s great that we can discuss topics beyond the club, without objections from those who believe a site should only focus on its main subject. I don’t use social media much, I keep it for personal matters and I wouldn’t think about discussing the club there, considering how some people can behave. It’s just not worth the trouble.
