Match Discussion: Game 4 - The Robins (A)
Notts just needs to control the game and manage every minute, ensuring there are no defensive slip-ups. I can see the game being played like the opening-day game against Tranmere, but now we have a bit more quality ready to shine. The starting eleven would probably do much better, so I hope Notts can score a goal or two. As for Swindon, I wouldn't underestimate them, but I think our form is currently better.

It could be wurst
Pukka pies are about the only thing I would eat at a football game if I were desperate. The hot dogs are rather bland, so if the club were to look for a nicer replacement, a German sausage could do the trick. It's money the club is missing out on and would be one of the easiest things they could change. The tea bars should have the demand to cater to fans and make money without charging ridiculous amounts.

MAGnets link - Swindon Town
Wes Thomas played for both teams. He retired after playing for us, but in 2015, he was a Swindon Town player.

Geraldo Bajrami out for the season.
It must be disappointing for him. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be, but I really hope he recovers well and can continue with his career. There were times when he was brilliant, taking on players for Notts. I wish him all the best.

Charlton Athletic's Lucas Ness Joins Notts County on Three-Year Deal
What a brilliant move by Notts to sign Lucas Ness! A young, talented defender with a great track record at Charlton Athletic. His experience with 40 senior appearances and multiple Player of the Month awards shows his calibre. I particularly appreciate the detailed planning from our management team, making sure Ness gets enough time to recover and fit in seamlessly. With the injuries in our current defence, Ness’s inclusion is both timely and smart. He’s well-suited for the right centre-back role and has the versatility to cover other positions. Can’t wait to see him bring stability to our defence and maybe even score a few headers!

Match Discussion: Game 3 - The Mariners (H)
I think more credit should go to the owners and Jason Palmer’s continued work on the legacy of his predecessor, Jason Turner. Yet, I think it’s a good read and makes some interesting points. It’s true that things will filter down; having a Premier League club in your city will bring attention to any football. Notts would do well to continue the family elements we have offered over the years, because one family member could easily turn into a dozen. Rather than five casual fans, you could have five families of new passionate fans.

Why Forest’s Premier League status has been beneficial for Notts.
I don’t think Notts needs to overthink the game or worry about Grimsby. I agree, training and match preparations are important, but equally important is managing the game as it unfolds. Notts needs to defend as a team, and we as fans should start giving some players some slack.

One touch football Leicester v Spurs
It’s good play; the speed split Spurs apart, but that shot was a waste of what was an excellent move. I don’t think it could have been any more straightforward. There seemed to be no pace or weight behind the strike. I could have caught the ball in my sleep.

Wangiri Phone scam
Easy answer: don’t call back unknown numbers and try to research any that do. If the number was important, it would have left a voice message or tried to call back. Just take some simple steps to protect yourself. It’s easy to fall victim to scams, but if you put in measures to limit the risk, the better off you will be.

Straight Red Cards For Serious Foul Play
By charging in, Dion Kelly-Evans does himself no favours. It’s a poor challenge. He gave himself little time to change his mind or to pull out. As fouls go that result in broken legs, it’s not as shocking as Roy Keane’s challenge, but it is a terrible tackle. It deserved a straight red. I also think it would be fair to extend the suspension due to dangerous behaviour. To ban him outright is just madness.

I was going to ask when the next round would be online, as I was a bit worried about missing it again. I will keep an eye out for it. Thanks for the update.

Match Discussion: Game 2 - The Fishermen (H)
I thought Jodi and Crowley were a class apart again today. It was great to see Matty Palmer come on as a sub after his injury woes, and I thought he really made a difference. Also, it was great to see Tsaroulla come on as a sub - he looks a class act and gave us more threat down the left. I felt sorry for Scott, he is not a left winger and it showed. Our defensive frailties are not due to personnel but formation. A 4-2-3-1 would solidify our defence whilst allowing Jodi the licence to utilise his attacking nature. This has been needed even when LW was here, although our free scoring often masked the issue. Possession is irrelevant, as we have shown in every game since SM took over. We have a playoff squad with a relegation manager. Good performance and character though. Good squad now and Matty Palmer is back.

Opposition View: Grimsby Town Fans Share Early Season Insights - Standout Players and Team Morale
This is a very good insight into Grimsby. I like this feature and how both of their fans came across. It sounds like they might do much better this season than before, ideally not against us.

David McGoldrick: Ready and Waiting to Shine at Notts County
David McGoldrick’s journey is truly inspiring. Despite limited playing time this season, his focus remains unwavering. His role as a mentor for young talents like Jatta is invaluable, offering wisdom drawn from years at the highest levels of football. McGoldrick’s positive mindset, even when benched, highlights his maturity and understanding of the game’s dynamics. His enduring passion benefits Notts County immensely. Here’s hoping he gets more opportunities to shine in upcoming matches.

Match Preview: Magpies Target Early Season Win Against Fleetwood Town
It would be great to have some players back from injury or those facing pre-season challenges. It would be a big boost to see Nick Tsaroulla in action. The team seems a bit short-handed at the moment due to absences. It's important for Notts to secure a good result tomorrow. A strong start to the season would help calm the nerves.

Match Discussion: Game 2 - The Fishermen (H)
What's the deal with Nick Tsaroulla? The media team could give us an update as to where certain players are at, those hampered by pre-season. I'm looking forward to seeing him in the team, from what I have read he's a very good player and should take the left side once available. I have nothing against Adam Chicken but his form seems lacking. Is Scott Robertson also injured? Notts seems quite closed lips on who is out. I'm hoping some of the signings don't repeat the Will Randall and Junior Morias path, wasted potential. With the squad we have, the club can't afford to have players out for prolonged periods. It would help to see the best players available tomorrow.

Mark Stallard: Notts County Fans the Backbone of a Promising League Campaign
I think Stallard's analysis of the match against Shrewsbury Town is spot on. It’s disappointing to be knocked out on penalties, but there are so many positives to take from it. I was particularly impressed by our first-half performance; we played with such confidence and control. The second half was tough, but it's part of the game. Stallard’s comments about the substitutions make sense too; they were necessary for the long-term benefits of the squad.

Match Discussion: League Cup - The Shrews (A)
It’s going to be difficult. We need to avoid further injuries, but at the same time, I don’t think straying from the squad that played against Tranmere would be wise. I would probably make a few alterations as a way to see if someone coming in can offer more from the start. I have a feeling that David McGoldrick might start.

Chris & Alex Reedtz: Five Years In Charge
It’s like winning the lottery and having every dream come true. We are not steamrolling leagues or being funded by bouncing cheques, fraudulent owners, or people so out of their depth that turning on the fans is the only way to salvage their public image. We are owned by sensible people who run the club as a business and think carefully about how to move forward. When the Reedtz do make appearances on TV or the radio, they always come across well. It makes a difference to focus on building and changing the club’s fortunes, compared to 5-year plans or short-term goals. We are working hard, recruiting players, and improving season by season. The club is a breath of fresh air, so much positivity and lots to look forward to. Mostly thanks to the Reedtz’s strong vision and guidance from the top down.

Estádio São Januário, Rio de Janeiro
It wouldn’t surprise me if this was the real reason the club was robbed. Clubs are often used to funnel dirty money.

New Signing Jacob Bedeau Thrilled to Be Part of Notts County's Journey
I'm particularly pleased to hear Bedeau's take on blending both possession play and more direct clearances when necessary. Last season, we struggled with balance, and his insight suggests we might finally strike it right this time. The gaffer's mid-game tactical adjustments also seemed to bring out the best in the squad, further enhancing our chances as we moved higher up the pitch. All in all, I'm hopeful and excited to see how the season unfolds with Bedeau and the rest of the new signings settling in so well.

Stuart Maynard Praises Defensive Display as Notts County Draw with Tranmere
It’s unfortunate that we couldn’t find the back of the net, but there were definitely some positive takeaways from the match. The team’s performance showed a lot of promise, with solid defensive work and some creative attacking play. If we can build on this foundation, I’m confident we’ll see better results in the upcoming fixtures. Keep the faith, and let’s continue to support the lads!
