Stuart Maynard: Morecambe clash a stern test as Notts County seek to bounce back
Maynard’s balanced and thoughtful approach is exactly what we need following the Gillingham match. His recognition that we played well despite the loss shows a lot of maturity. Morecambe’s style indeed poses a unique challenge, and it wouldn’t be wise to underestimate them despite their position. Our team’s high performance levels must continue, and this game is a perfect opportunity to showcase our resilience. It’s a tough break not having Jatta, but following concussion protocols is paramount. Also, giving younger players like Muir a chance demonstrates our depth and future potential. The match at Morecambe might be testing, but I believe in our squad’s strength and ability to secure a win.

Notts County's Youngest Ever Player: Kameron Muir Breaks 25-Year-Old Record
It’s moments like this that make football so special. A 15-year-old debuting for Notts County and becoming the youngest player in the club’s history – what an achievement for Kameron Muir! It’s clear the lad has a great head on his shoulders, especially with how he handled himself after the match. His journey from grassroots to the first team in such a short space of time shows what dedication and hard work can do. I’m especially impressed with how grounded he seems. He’s not letting the occasion overwhelm him, which is vital if he’s to fulfil his potential. I think he’s going to be a key player for us in the future.

Dan Crowley: "My Focus Is on Notts. I’m a Notts County Player."
Dan Crowley's form has been nothing short of inspirational. He has genuinely stepped up this season, both in terms of performance and leadership. His acknowledgment of last season’s disappointment shows maturity, and the way the squad has bounced back is impressive. The added points about how new players have quickly adapted highlights not just the talent of the individuals but also the collective effort from the coaching staff. Crowley’s dedication to Notts amidst transfer speculations speaks volumes about his commitment and love for the club. It’s this kind of dedication and unity that can carry a team through tough fixtures and onto greater achievements.

AZ Alkmaar win 9-1 , ex Spurs Troy Parrott scoring 4
Very good player. Spurs should have kept him and tried to see if he could replace the loss of Harry Kane. Son is a good player, but better out wide for me. I think AZ have signed a very good player, even if the league they play in isn’t exactly filled with great players.

MK Dons boss targeted by Carlisle Utd
If he were to go, it would make you wonder what Carlisle fans would think about appointing a manager who didn’t exactly allow MK Dons to reach their potential. Whereas, MK Dons fans might just be happy with him being appointed by Carlisle. I don’t think he’s done a convincing job at MK Dons so far. They are playing poorly, and I do think he’s somewhat responsible for that.

- Who's Your Notts County Man of the Match Against Bromley?
Jodi Jones was instrumental to the win. Without him fighting to pull us back, the other players around him might have dropped their heads.- Stuart Maynard Reflects on Notts County's Depth Ahead of Gillingham Clash
The squad is performing well together. They look settled and on board with the team no matter who starts. It’s the fight and togetherness that impressed against Bromley. Gillingham will be another test, but the squad is looking good.- Bostock and Tobi, a great pic
They will always be remembered for the amazing season we had, even if Tobi did not feature much. It’s great to see the pair together.- Junior Morias to Dagenham & Redbridge on loan.
No idea. He should be in our squad and would have resolved the issue we had when the club needed someone up top. Perhaps it’s his size and limited positions, but I do like him. He works hard!- Happy birthday CliftonMagpie
Happy Birthday, @CliftonMagpie! Have a great day!- Matt Palmer Reflects on ‘Long Road’ to Returning for Notts County
Matt Palmer's return to the starting lineup was nothing short of inspirational. Coming back from an injury is never easy, especially when you've been out for an extended period. Palmer’s leadership on the field was evident as he helped propel Notts County to a remarkable win against Bromley. The way he spoke about the challenges he faced highlights the mental and physical hurdles players have to overcome. Yet, it was his calm, understated style that guided the team to recover from an early setback and dominate the rest of the match. Palmer's reflection on the squad's depth and talent further cements just how dedicated he is, not only to his own performance but to uplifting the entire team.- Jodi Jones Targets More Goals and Promotion in a Big Season for Notts County
Jodi Jones’s attitude is what every Notts County supporter loves to see. His determination to improve his goalscoring and assist his teammates showcases his dedication. The squad looks even more promising this season with the new signings, and it’s exciting to think about what we can achieve. Consistency is vital in League Two, and Jones's comments about finishing strong resonate with all of us. If he continues this form, there’s no doubt we’ll be in contention for promotion. The right wing will certainly bring out the best in him, and I can’t wait to see more of him in action.- Prediction league 24/25 round 6 - Saturday 14 September

George Abbott is a very talented young player. He has settled in well at Notts County and has been very effective when he has played. I was impressed by his defensive work. He broke up attacks and helped us to get forward. He played very well, and you would not believe it was his first start in front of such a big crowd. He was not nervous at all. He played calmly and with quality.- Welcome to Notts, Jevani Brown.
I was hopeful that he could be a valuable asset to the team. Despite his recent challenges, I saw potential in him. If we can maintain his motivation, it will undoubtedly benefit the team. Regarding his past, I'm keen to examine the actual court documents. I'm concerned that the media coverage may be sensationalized, focusing on his profession rather than the incident itself. While physical altercations are unacceptable, it's important to consider both sides of the story.- Match Report: David McGoldrick at the Double as Magpies Secure Confident Home Win
Notts County dominated the match, with outstanding performances from Conor Grant, Alex Bass, Matty Platt, and Jacob Bedeau. David McGoldrick's clinical finishing sealed the deal. A well-deserved win for the Magpies.- Match Discussion: Game 5 - The Owd Reds (H)
Notts County put on a fantastic performance, securing a well-deserved victory. The team displayed incredible determination and skill throughout the match. Conor Grant, Alex Bass, Matty Platt, and Jacob Bedeau all played exceptional roles in the win. Their contributions were invaluable to the team's success. David McGoldrick once again showcased his goal-scoring prowess with some truly outstanding finishes. His clinical ability was a key factor in securing the victory. Overall, it was a brilliant performance from Notts County. The team's hard work and dedication paid off, and they thoroughly deserved the win.- Prediction league 24/25 round 5 - Saturday 7 September

Sven-Göran Eriksson was more than just the Director of Football at Notts County; he was a visionary. His brief time at the club was marked by both success and transformation. Winning the League Two Championship and securing promotion to League One were significant achievements, but it was his integrity and commitment to the club that truly stood out. His decision to waive his payoff to facilitate a takeover demonstrated his character and dedication. The minute's applause this Saturday will be a fitting tribute to a man who left such a profound impact on Notts. His legacy will be remembered not only in the club's history but also in the hearts of all who admired him.- Match Report: McGoldrick Magic as Notts County Triumph Over Swindon Town
The lads showed real heart and tenacity to come from behind and secure what could be a pivotal win in our promotion push. McGoldrick was sensational with both goals. His second, in particular, was out of the top drawer. The defence also deserves massive credit for standing firm under relentless pressure from Swindon. Bass’s save towards the end was top-notch. This match was a perfect example of what we can achieve with a blend of skill, experience, and determination. It’s victories like these that can define a season.- Prediction league 24/25 round 4 - Saturday 31 August

I’m really pleased with Notts securing George Abbott on loan. His track record with Tottenham is quite impressive, especially his leadership in winning titles with their Under 21 team. It’s clear that Abbott has the potential to excel, and his versatility can really boost our squad. I appreciate Richard Montague’s enthusiasm about this signing. It’s not every day we get a player who has featured against top clubs like Bayern Munich. I’m looking forward to watching him develop and hopefully become a key player for us this season.- August Player of the Month: Pride of Nottingham
