  1. I have low expectations for this game, but you never know. Notts are more than capable of surprising us. Keep it basic, work hard and play with your heart. COYP!
  2. What a horror show.
  3. Welcome @ShannockPie! Happy to have you here.
  4. I`m hopeful of a good result, especially if we approach the game in the same manner as against Newport. I do think we should play with a back four, even if it`s a home game. COYP!
  5. It was an exciting game. Wrexham could and should have buried it early in the second half. And although I have no complaints about our attacking force, Jatta will likely bring something new to the mix. I also think Didzy looks a bit tired at times. He`s playing a lot for a 36 year old in a quite intensive setup. I think it can be useful to sub Didzy for Jatta, and then play with two strikers, especially against low block teams where we need something new. Maynard seems like a more flexible coach than LW, so we will see a fair amount of different combinations for the upcoming games, both in defence and attack.
  6. Jodi Jones is unreal!
  7. Newport are flying recently, but I`m really excited about the changes made by Maynard. Excited to see LAH and glad to have Macari back. Only 30 mins now. COYP!
  8. We need a win and it`s going to happen tonight. 2-0. COYP!
  9. It`s so refreshing to be a part of Pride of Nottingham where people`s comments mostly seem reflected and well thought out.
  10. Jodi Jones is a beast. Our best player this season ahead of Crowley. His curl crosses are immense, both from deep and byline. If we isolate just his technical crossing ability I would rate him in the top 15-20 in England - at least not far off. Overall I think he could play for a Championship team, especially if his defensive responsibilities were less than in his current role at Notts. Hopefully we can make even more use of his crosses when Jatta is ready to play. We have fantastic crosses from both left (JJ) and right (Crowley).
  11. Great to see Warner in for Brindley, we need to be strong and solid in defence. COYP!
  12. Hopefully he will bring a lot more enthusiasm and energy than he brought to his first Notts interview. I wish him all the best and hope he will surprise us all.
  13. Dangerous play + no interest in the ball whatsoever = red card.
  14. Six subs and an argument. 3 minutes of stoppage time.. Shocking. All in all a decent first game under new management. Second half better than the first. Dominating possession as always. Very difficult to break through a well organized low block by Barrow, especially through the centre. Overall satisfied with the performance.
  15. I`m really looking forward to this match. Barrow is a patient side and I think they will be happy to play a deep line while waiting for mistakes. However, I foresee a very energetic Notts team today where players are eager to impress our new gaffer. I predict a 2-1 victory. COYP!
  16. Very excited about this appointment. Let`s start with a bang tomorrow. COYP!
  17. I`ve got a Google Pixel 6a. One of the best budget Android phones. Battery could be better, but I`m overall satisfied.
  18. Welcome @True Magpie, glad to have you here!
  19. We can`t seriously expect our attackers to score three, four or even five goals each game to win. Today we needed six!
  20. I`m expecting a similar lineup as previous games. Formation stays the same. I would opt for Macari instead of Brindley though. I predict a 2-1 win today. COYP!
  21. Welcome @StanfordPie. Glad to have you here.
  22. I would like to be added for these newsletters.
  23. I`m slightly surprised he didn`t make it. He barely played at all. He has great experience with possession based football (Bournemouth) but LW is very picky and stuck with Austin/JOB instead. Gosling just didn`t seem to bring the necessary energy and whenever he got the ball he chose the safer pass instead of being more progressive-minded. Hopefully Robertson will settle down quickly and fit into the style of the upcoming head coach.
