  5. Based on the team performance last evening, the whole squad left standing needs to step up & claim at least a playoff spot which is not yet secured.
  6. Notts still have problems against strong, physical teams that also have pace upfront. They are still susceptable to making catastrophic mistakes at the back. Notts demonstrated against Oldham that they are still vunerable to the Counter attack that has plagued them since their return to League 2. Notts lacked discipline against Oldham with a player recieving two yellow cards resulting in his sending off & two other players recieving yellow cards. It a worrying trend, that is hurting them massively. The team appeared to give up after the sending off & failed to create any meaningful opportunities afterwards. There appeared to be a lack of leadership from all the senior players to rally the team to make a game of it. A great performance in the previous match against Cheltenham to the complete opposite against Oldham which demonstrates a lack of consistency that a team challenging for promotion requires.
  7. I agree with others. I thought Tom Iorpenda was far above anyone else. Its concerning that our senior players failed to step up to the plate especially when Norburn was dismissed.

  12. Our lack of discipline is going to cost us an automatic promotion place. With the injuries starting to pile up too, it's a big headache for Martin Paterson. I think Norburn might have a two game ban instead of just the one game due to his 2nd red card of the season. Notts have been accused of not being physical enough which has cost us in recent seasons, but lack of discipline is different to showing physicality in games. It's just a self inflicted wound. 13. League 2 Table after the Oldham defeat.
  14. That's a massive blow for Notts with Matty Platt already out for the rest of the season. Macari, Platt, Bedeau, & McDonald had a great understanding together. I'm not sure if Macari, Bedeau & Ness have the same. And we now only have young Browne as cover for any other injury that might happen to one of those three senior defenders.
  15. A very dissapointing evening at Oldham. Poor conditions with a strong wind and rain. The sending off of Ollie Norburn didn't help the Notts cause especially facing the wind in the 2nd half. So who stood out for Notts in a very dissapointing performance! I have not included Norburn in the final list of players for you to choose your favourite. That list of players are:- Belshaw, Macari, Ness, Bedeau, Tsaroulla, Palmer, Jones, Grant, Iorpenda, Jatta.
