  1. We already have a thread on this subject.
  2. WPL Division 1 Midlands. Sunday 23rd Feb 2025: 2pm Notts C Women v Worcester City
  3. It just demonstrates that there is a big gulf between the top half of league 1 and league 2? A team that gets promoted to league 1 has to prepare & invest wisely in new players to strengthen the team to just consolidate, no matter challenge for promotion. It will be a big task for Notts if they do get promoted. Mansfield were an excellent side at league 2 level, but that stands for nothing in league 1.
  4. The poll has now closed. Thank you for your vote I am pleased to announce that Kellan Gordon has been voted the Pride of Nottingham's Man of the Match for his outstanding performance against Colchester. Well done Kellan.
  5. It was another overcast day here and cold. We have been promised warmer weather for a few days. Hope it arrives and gives us some respite.. Pleased with Notts getting the draw last night. A point gained is better than no points at all. Notts are handicapped by 7 injured players being out with 3 new players trying to get up to speed, That's 10 of the Notts players that are either out or are not yet performing as expected. We need to hope that things on the injury front get much better in the coming weeks.
  6. 1.Scott Robertson 2.Lucas Ness 3.Lewis Macari 4.Jacob Bedeau 5.Jodi Jones 6.David McGoldrick 7.Rod McDonald Rod went off injured against Colchester. Macari & Whitaker returned to fitness.
  7. Your Wednesday Morning Weather
  8. Four players stood out from the rest in.my opinion. George Abbott, Conor Grant, Kellan Gordon & Alex Bass. I agree with @CliftonMagpie that Notts missed Jacob Bedeau tonight as well as Didzy & Jodi. We need Jodi back for his creativity. I'm going to give my M of the M award to Alex Bass because I believe without him, we would have lost the match.
  9. I'm satisfied that Notts came out with a point tonight. It is clear that Notts are missing Didzy & our best creative player, Jodi Jones. I think that we have to give credit to Colchester who are in a run of good form at the moment & probably deserved the draw. Notts also missed Jacob Bedeau. It's hard for a player like Zak Johnson to come in and forge a good partnership at the back straight from the get go. Pleased that Conor Grant scored an early goal for Notts & they did have chances to increase their lead & the result could easily have been a win for Notts. We've gained a point & we haven't lost any ground at the top being only two points behind 2nd spot. Onwards we go with another home match against Tranmere on Saturday.
  10. Let's hear from the Boss
  11. Just a point tonight for Notts against a Colchester side in good form. The players I have selected for you to choose the PON Notts Man of the match are the starting 11. Those players are:- Bass, Platt, McDonald, Johnson, Tsaroulla, Abbott, Palmer, Gordon, Edwards, Grant & Jatta. Please choose your Man of the Match & tell us why you chose him.
  12. Doncaster win but Wimbledon drop points tonight. Teams around Notts are still dropping points & doing Notts a favour.
  13. League 2 table after tonight's games 18/02/25. Notts are in 4th place.
  14. Full time The points are shared.
