Does the Notts Squad need more League 2 experience?
Have seen lots of speculation on here with differing opinions on who Notts should recruit with some good suggestions too. This is the time when there is much speculation along with lots of click & bait stories on social media, with rumour running a mock about potential transfers. Despite all of that, I still stick by my opinion that Notts need to go with recruiting players with lots of league experience this time with their ages ranging from the mid to late 20s to early 30s. A player like former Wrexham defender, Ben Tozer would fit the kind of player I would recruit. Notts wouldn't go far wrong in looking to recruit from players released by the three big promotion teams in League 2. I hope the delay in Notts announcing any incoming players just yet, demonstrates that they are making sure that they get the right players in, that will serve the ultimate purpose of getting promotion next season.

- Should Parachute Payments be abolished.
Parachute payments were introduced by the Premier League in the 2006/07 season as a method of limiting the financial damage a relegated team may endure when dropping down to the Championship. Parachute payments also exist for teams that have been relegated from the Championship, League 1 & League 2 as well. Unfortunately, parachute payments gives relegated clubs an unfair financial advantage over all those other clubs in those respective leagues where those relegated Clubs find themselves. The evidence is there for all to see where we are now in the age of the yo yo club that gets relegated, then gets promoted again. Parachute payments have clearly made the football league less competitive when it comes to clubs trying to gain promotion. This state of affairs just cannot go on and needs to be addressed by the FA & EFL. My suggestion would be to abolish parachute payments for relegated clubs, & distribute that money, that would have been used for parachute payments, to all the other league clubs. I would also put a cap on transfers and wages in all four leagues, as a fixed lump sum in each league, not an amount based on percentage of turnover, which unfairly benefits the rich Clubs. A good article on parachute payments follows.???? Premier League parachute payments gap 'a major concern' says EFL https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/65323385.amp- Jokers Wild: Joke Of The Day.

- Where do you see Notts in the next 5 years?
In five years time Notts will hopefully be in league 1, in a good financial state, resolutely sticking to their long term financial principles. Hopefully Notts will be challenging in the top half of the table, playing attractive open football that will continue to attract a good following. I would hope to have seen the Club invest in the ground improvements needed to get the ground capacity back to 20,000 with more refreshment kiosks and additional toilets. I think the Club need to install additional turnstiles and improve the present ones too.- UK Weather Watch.

- Is VAR Ruining Football?
I agree in some parts of what you say.. I think VAR could be used as an appeals system where a Manager can appeal up to two decisions such as handballs in the penalty area, sending offs & offsides, but I would like VAR just to have that secondary role and the Referee & Assistant Referees making all the decisions like they did pre VAR. Unfortunately, I think you are right. All 92 Clubs should have an equal vote on VAR, not just the 20 PL Clubs.- Jokers Wild: Joke Of The Day.
