After day two Notts finish the day on 33 for 1 in their 2nd innings & trail Hampshire by 8 runs. It has been an interesting day's play with Notts finishing on 235 in their first innings with James finishing on 106 not out. Hampshire replied with 276 all out with Stone taking 4 for 62, & Pennington 3 for 70, the pick of the Notts bowlers. I don't think Forest will move because most of their fans are against it, but even if they did, with planning permission needed, & that would take time, it would take a few years to build the new ground, so I would estimate that it would be at least three seasons before it was ready to be used. So even in the worse case scenario, the Nest would still be very lucrative for Notts in the short term.

Lunch Hampshire are 61 for 3 with Stone taking 2 wickets & Patterson 1. The pitch is still giving encouragement to the bowlers and Notts have fought back in the session before Lunch. Should be a fascinating afternoon of play.
