We have to remember that the Club has invested in a new state of the heart pitch that is Premier League standard Converted part of the Kop to standing only. Improved the facilities around the Ground & made ground structural improvements. Notts has partnered with the Uni of Nottingham to develop Highfields Sports Complex into a new elite-level training base. This includes a replica of Meadow Lane's hybrid pitch, a new gym, and other facilities. And not forgetting the Nest that had to be developed at cost. So if you take all those improvements into account it must be maybe up to Β£2 to Β£3million has been spent, so all that spending has to be taken into account.

In a word it was Martin's best interview yet as Notts Head Coach. He's been able to observe how the team have performed over the four friendly matches, & He says he knows where he needs to strengthen the team. It's also very interesting to see him play Jarvis & Jones in the number 10 attacking midfield role & he says he's looking at that possibility. I myself have been asking for Jodi to be given a go in that role because I think he has the talent to do well there. I think everybody knows where we need those new players A, B, C & maybe D. After hearing Martin tonight I'm confident that we are going to see those arrivals at Notts in the coming week or so.

@theAnticlough Martin did say in his pre match interview that he knows where Notts need new players & he is working with the Notts recruiters to bring them in.
