  1. Absolutely gutted he's gone, he did a grey job of slowing things downand controlling the midfield. He was just what Notts were missing in terms of an agitator/antagonist in midfield. I hope we get another player with those skills as county have been too nice for too long, youneed a few of these type of players.

I am pleased it was his decision to move closer to home, as I would have been annoyed if Notts had moved him on.

  2. I don't really know that much about him but from what has been said sounds like a good signing.

Is he anything like a Dan Crowley type of player? As I still think we need a player like that, would anyone say Sanders or Roberts would fill a role similar to that of Crowley or is this something they still needs to be looked for? A creative midfielder?

  3. I do like to root for an under dog and think some of the stuff said about Roos elsewhere on the internet has been a bit unfair.

He did OK but never great with crosses and left most feeling a little uneasy, so it is for the best that he has now been replaced but I wish him the best of luck in Scotland

Here's a couple more rumours that I've heard/read. One is that Gordon could potentially go back to Crawley. I wouldn't be that surprised considering they've already signed former players like Orsi and Lolos, it's like their strategy is now to just get all their players who got them promoted back.

Traore to be loaned out to the League of Ireland and Sligo Rovers is the team he could join. He's not getting a look in here so it would make sense.

I think Traore should definitely be loaned out or sold, he doesn't really get a game and when he does, causes no impact.

Sounds like another good signing but can you have too many midfielders? We seem to have over loaded midfield and still require another forward.

Can you also have too many players on loan?

  6. Yes, good game, I thought it was the most entertaining home performance i have seen since at least January if not longer.

Good pressure, less going backwards, more attacking minded and more aggressive in fighting for the ball and a corker of a goal from Cotter!

As others have said , I feel better about going into the season following that game, if we can play like that against teams in our own division, we should be OK.

  7. I thought it was a good honest post match interview and that he appeared to say it how it was. From mentioning that there was a lot of work to be done, to stating that he wasn't happy that Macari gave the ball away twice early on. He also made me smile lateri n the interview, when he said something about the quality of the pitch but said its not an excuse, play better!

  8. Maybe we should have kept Tyler Miller? Or maybe he didn't really impress on thetraining field.

I hope some signings are coming soon, as the squad feels quite thin again and if we have injuries like last season we may be in trouble.

  9. Gutted, I usually remain optimistic as much as possible when it comes to Notts but with recent departures including ones named above and now Bass, I can't help but feel that if Notts were going to get promoted, it was last season, and that this season is going to be fairly standard in comparison.

Feeling fairly disappointed currently, but hopefully the new exciting tactics are going to make up for it!

  10. I hope he does well. Has seemingly shown passion and determination to get back into the game following injury and time out of the game.

There has been some negative comments on Facebook about him coming from the national league north and how is this going to get us promoted, it is a concern that he has come from the national league north, but all we can do is support him and hope his desire to prove and improve shows and is rewarded.
