  1. i think the pressure as switch from getting the win to requiring to maintain this form but i think the players will keep up the high level of performance. i would be happy with a draw, i cant get greedy by suggesting another win will come.
  2. its great to get that first win i just hope notts can progress further and actually start to do much better, we can then put this awful start behind us.
  3. i think its going to be tougher than crewe, i cant see notts breaking them down well or controlling the game. it will most likely be a battle to get anything but i just hope notts are up to it.
  4. i think nathan thomas has not been that good of a performer for us, i can see why he struggles to get noticed with his parent club.
  5. it looks like two teams in a similar situation faces off against each other, i do feel we are much more stronger at the back but it remains to be said what ross fitzsimons will do at meadow lane. i am interested to hear @samwatto2008 mention that he looks better away from home in the latest poncast, i think he needs to strive to prove his worth to the home fans and hopefully another good performance will do that. part of me thinks both teams will struggle but if we can lift the majority of our own players i think a win could be likely.
  6. a draw may turn into a win, its just pleasing to see notts make the most of games and to fight. a clean sheet/not conceding right now feels better than a win because it shows the progress. i think when they do get the first win the positives will flow and that they will do well from there. its a solid point.
  7. come on notts, get the goal and stop letting them cause issues at the back. kewell should make a change up top.
  8. i am listening on my dab radio, i really hope david jackson is doing the commentary and that john thompson is not on. i dont mind charlie but i prefer david. i think northampton will be looking at our weaknesses and thinking they have won before its begun. we have to make sure that if they do underestimate us that we take the game to them and just push for a goal as best we can. i think if we could learn to take the lead by two goals i think it would breed confidence. 1-0 notts win and jon stead to score.
  9. i feel the exact same way, its good to see the creativity and defence improve from the previous games. i do feel that its a worry if we dont score tho.
  10. @TheSkipper i doubt it. ah seems blinded by pointing the fault elsewhere. communications seems a big key for a strong keeper and surely people notice that fitzsimons does it less than last season? maybe he made a point to be noticed but hes not taken the chance.
  11. speaks from the heart, honestly and openly. i do feel hes being mindful of what he says so that its more positive but i give him credit for being a true professional.
  12. im worried about notts, there was an improvement today but there is no little praise for giving the lead away three times. notts would have had stevenage, they looked poor but we gave them a way back into it every time we scored. notts looked good at times especially in the second half. but the opening nerves crept in and times. i have little faith in fitzsimons, people moaned about collin for slowing down the game but all ross does is give the ball away by blindlessly clearing it to the opposition.
  13. hope they can do a job for us, evina was described as an athlete so that sounds positive.
  14. notts manger harry kewell has given his thoughts on the upcoming game. quite a good insight.

  16. Harry Kewell looks ahead to his first game in the Meadow Lane dugout.
  17. hes been pretty good since returning, i do prefer him in midfield but i hope he can help the defence stable themselves.
  18. difficult game, stevenage have some good players and are a fairly tall squad. i think we will struggle.
  19. less impressive interview tbh, i think he should have been more openly honest and focused on the players mistakes and not the refs.
  20. i wonder if harry kewell can save the players, he should have been annoyed after the first goal and he should be more vocal now its 2-0. it seems a matter of time before exeter get a third.
  21. squad for today, its good to see oxlade-chamberlain start. i wished notts would learn to put the in the order they start but it looks a good team.
  22. i like the fact hes starting slowly and not overloading the players with instructions but he should try to help them to understand how best to attack.
  23. good interview, he speaks passion and sense. i hope he can help kewell and us escape this losing streak.
  24. Harry Kewell will have to grasp the squad quickly, soon Notts will need all the points and a win would be a big boost for the club.
  25. game highlights for those that want to see.
