  1. i thought we did well in spells, peterborough made it hard for us to play and it was pleasing to see us just clear the danger when it was needed. the start of the game was a bit disappointing but they played well to get the opening. the disallowed goal i felt was the warning, but their first was almost the same exact move. the subs in the second half changed the game but had stuart maynard not made them, then some fans would complain about how we are playing on tuesday night. there is a lot of similarities in this game and that of the league cup against shrewsbury town. i watched the full game, i felt frustrated and disappointed by those who left early. i thought the squad deserved to be clapped off the pitch and those who left early, will have missed giving them the credit deserved. first half we could have easily seen out shrewsbury if we had continued, like with peterborough subs changed the game but robbie cundy was terrible. the second half we struggled, they came out much better and we played our hearts out just to pull level. we are lucky that we did not concede more goals in the second half, had bass been in goal we might have stood more chance but defensively we switched off in the second half.
  2. im coming for you @Robbie, @super_ram and @ARLukomski. well played everyone and thank you, @DangerousSausage. now prepare for my takeover of the prediction league, as i start my christmas run to the top of the title where i aim to stay. so good luck keep up.
  3. i think george abbott has been the best performer in november for us, i think all the nominees could have been voted for as they have been all excellent but for me its abbott.
  4. alex bass was top draw, but really i left feeling more impressed by george abbott by just how much he shined against a team of players who have played at a higher level. abbott looked comfortable and much more settled than when he first arrived, he worked very hard.
  5. well i think sam austin is vastly underrated for the effort he puts in, i think hes a good player and on his day can change the outcome. he plays well with a goal to his name, it pushes him on and i would love to see him bag a goal against peterborough united today. we want players who we cant fault for their effort, our team has enough quality to do well and it really would be a good thing for the club if we could overcome this game with a positive result.
  6. its going to be a tough game but i think we should be able to give a good account of ourselves, i dont expect any of the returning players from injury to start and i hope we play a first 11 that is competitively strong. it sounds like stuart maynard wants to make it to the 3rd round, so hopefully we can just try our best to cause a cup upset.
  7. you have it correct, plus the retirement you jammy bugger.
  8. i woke up with a headache which has only gotten worse as the day has gone on, so now that i am approaching the end of my shift. i think i am going to have a kip and rest up a little. i dont want to work another day with a ponding head like this. i hope all the members of pon who reads this are feeling well, especially @super_ram and 2 holidays a month @Fan of Big Tone.
  9. how about this one. also this one. PSG Women concede comical goal to leave fans "crying tears" - Daily Star WWW.DAILYSTAR.CO.UK PSG Women stars Barbora Votikova and Paulina Dudek were left to argue amongst themselves after conceding a comical goal against Lyon in the Champions League
  10. i dont think i would tell myself anything, or change anything about my past because i am very happy with where i am now. most people might have regrets or things they wished they could change but i prefer adulthood because i have more control and i never really enjoyed being younger.
  11. i hope he does well with woking, i always had hoped we would see alan judge return to notts during his career. maybe as a coach or something one day?
  12. its a good comeback but hardly the greatest, 4 goals might be uncommon but non league games that far down can be scrappy.
  13. it looks more level than forest green rovers pitch last season.
  14. i think that fans should be encouraged to voice their concerns and thoughts, i think when notts listens we see improvements. its not always the case, but i think with the reedtz we have a better chance of getting through to the club. its not the same for every club and some fans wont want to have input from supporters because of various reasons, though i think there should be a way to do so. i am against having fans in the board room and i dont think any fans should be treated differently to others. so i am not exactly sure what to suggest. i guess fan forums are one of the best ways.
  15. its not a good for scottish football or partick thistle. they need to get a grip of the finances in the scottish leagues, because i can imagine its harder for them to see it out.
  16. did anything come of his comments? i pay very little attention to football outside of league two and notts, unless its major news.
  17. i missed this but the milestone of reaching the grand master is nice to see, well done wrm.
  18. the first time i watched forest gump, it upset me. the story really does have a lot of sad times in it, even if forest does tend to overcome them. it reminded me a lot of how i used to feel isolated at school.
  19. frank lampard ???? surely coventry city fans would rather not go there? 20. i wonder if we will get any more snow? it did not really last all that long and there was a couple of days that was not so cold as to be expected.
  21. its a shame jatta did not play, hope he gets further chance in the future.
  22. even pierce morgan has been defending mike tyson, anyone who thinks tyson has ruined his legacy really dont know much about him.
  23. i dont mind some games being changed, its nice to have more free time on a saturday with the earlier kick offs. i can get home and have something to eat before its late, but sometimes its annoying. i dont mind so much these games above changed. earlier mid week games are the worst.
  24. it sounds great, @Chris. i remember the old newsletters and emails which promoted the sites content, i always thought it was a good idea.
  25. i am looking forward to the game, it would be nice if we could sustain a good cup run but it needs to not come at the cost of the league. peterborough might field a weaker side themselves so they can focus on the league. if they field their strongest squad its going to be tough, especially since we struggled earlier in the season against shrewsbury but it will show how much our defence has improved. hoping we take the game to them.
