  1. It’s clear that Neil Warnock’s passion for the game keeps him engaged, but he should savour the remaining years of his life in retirement. He will undoubtedly leave behind a legacy as one of the finest managers in the Football League.
  2. Hello, @Benji. Welcome to PON. It's nice to have you here.
  3. We place our faith in Luke Williams! He’s steering HMS Notts County towards the Championship. The journey may not always be smooth, but his unwavering dedication and hard work, coupled with the collective efforts of the coaching team, provide the best guidance for this Notts squad. They will continue to improve and strive for consecutive promotions. With our phenomenal support, both at home and away, and a squad brimming with talent, we can persist and achieve even greater success!
  4. A better goal could not have been netted against MK Dons, as they simply closed ranks and made it challenging. The only possibilities I could foresee were aerial and long-range attempts. Kyle Cameron's shot was absolutely exceptional, flawlessly targeted. He had previously made an off-target attempt, so one could anticipate his successful strike.
  5. The highlights certainly showcased a commendable performance by Notts. As for the topic of Connell Rawlinson, I won’t be commenting on it. It seems that discussion has been overdone to the point of exhaustion.
  6. Max Power is quite laughable. He’s certainly not a player who should be enjoying a lucrative contract in the sun. Not in the slightest.
  7. It appears that Neal Bishop might be considering a career in punditry and commentary, according to his recent Facebook post about his departure.
  8. @DangerousSausage following the match in Salford, we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
  9. Hello, welcome to PON. I am glad to be welcoming you to our community @JOHN BOND.
  10. Hello, welcome to the PON community. We are a good lot of passionate Notts fans @Laura Griffin.
  11. Lee Johnson could be a suitable appointment; Fleetwood might even be the kind of team that suits him. However, if he fails to instigate a turnaround, it could significantly dent his career.
  12. I’m not keen on this; the EFL Trophy is a farce and merely a waste of time. Now that most of our fans have experienced Wembley, that excuse can be dismissed. It will be intriguing to see how low the attendance drops. I will focus on the important cup matches and the league.
  13. It’s positive news that the Mansfield game will be televised. I hope this discourages those with no real interest in Notts from attending, yet who still turn up for games.
  14. It is essential that we closely examine the way MK Dons scored, as it is crucial to address the defensive lapse that occurred. I don’t want to harp on it or see Connell Rawlinson continually blamed. It’s a dreadful goal to concede, but it’s a defensive issue rather than solely Rawlinson’s, although he could improve.
  15. This is an encouraging fact if we continue to perform well. I hope we can replicate this success. The away match against Salford will be a significant challenge.
  16. Notts adopted a more effective strategy in the MK Dons match. Their goal was expertly executed, and they brought an element of threat to their game. It seemed to materialise out of the blue, as I felt Notts were gradually finding their footing in the game until then. In the second half, Notts executed some impressive moves, and their ball control made MK Dons hesitant to push forward. Despite numerous opportunities, nothing really materialised for us in terms of goals. Kyle Cameron's goal was truly exceptional. It effortlessly soared into the net, and the subsequent opportunities were promising, but their goalkeeper did well to prevent us from clinching the win.
  17. Tranmere Rovers have had a dismal start, which explains why they’ve decided to part ways with their manager. I’ve seen no evidence of progress from them, despite having some talented players. It’s puzzling why they don’t capitalise on the partnership between Kane Hemmings and Kristian Dennis. They haven’t seen much playtime, but there’s undeniable quality in their team that could potentially turn things around.
  18. Dan Crowley is beyond this level and should continue to excel. When one fits into a system as seamlessly as he does, it’s difficult to envision him being benched or replaced. He integrates so well into our line-up that, to me, it seems our midfield selects itself on match days. For instance, not seeing Matt Palmer start, we have the core of midfield and now in Crowley, we have the rhythm. I’m delighted that he’s enjoying his time here, and I relish watching him play for us.
  19. It’s a fascinating tale of how he was let go by Doncaster Rovers, had a loan stint with Notts, and ultimately signed a contract in Dubai. I don’t recall observing it, but I typically don’t pay much heed to the goalkeepers warming up. Nonetheless, it’s an intriguing little story.
  20. Kyle Cameron is a commendable leader for us on the pitch. He exerts a great deal of effort and is often criticised for going to ground and losing the ball, but I believe he’s shown significant improvement this season. His strike against MK Dons was a thing of beauty; it was never going to be saved. Once Notts got into their stride, MK Dons appeared quite average, so there are plenty of positives to take away, not just from the draw itself, of course. Maintaining our undefeated run is of utmost importance.
  21. I think it’s a very average signing that signals just how much Wrexham has struggled to bring in players for certain positions, but I do think Fletcher is more of a signing to provide cover and allow them to review once his deal ends.
  22. I didn’t attend the game, but I did watch it at home. It was a great day and a proud moment. I wished the Danish brothers owned us at this point because I think our friendship would have been forged more closely with souvenirs from the day most likely being bought by them so that they could remain with the club.
  23. I find it rather amusing and delightfully peculiar, indeed quite distinct. It’s a bit pointless, asking questions in a skit that are unanswerable. The Paddle Centre is constantly bustling, so I don't think it really needed any additional promotion.
  24. Others are to blame, not just Connell Rawlinson, but it was his responsibility to mark the MK Dons player closely. There’s a point where he looks back towards the ball, and I think that’s when he realised the mistake he had made. I don’t think anyone needs to launch a hate campaign because Rawlinson will own this, but it’s for Luke Williams to realise he’s not always the best option.
  25. This decision lacks perspective. Germany is not that bad; they’re experiencing what other major nations are going through, such as Italy, who are lacking in most departments. They have a good pool of players to choose from. My argument would be the management decisions prior to this appointment. They need to make a long-term decision and stick with it, because otherwise, they will fluctuate between good and bad, but not be the Germany that used to dominate.
