Neil Warnock PON Legends, Heroes and Icon Print
There is no doubting Jimmy Sirrel's standing as Notts County's greatest manager but second place belongs to Neil Warnock, who forged the amazing Magpies side of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
At the end of his first full season, Warnock had led Notts to promotion back to Division Two via the playoffs in a 2-0 win over Tranmere Rovers, before securing a second successive playoff triumph at Wembley 12 months later against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Warnock also masterminded the famous 1-0 win over Manchester City in the FA Cup which booked them a place in the quarter-finals, truly moments to remember for all longstanding County fans.
