  1. Notts County were robbed of victory at Coventry City’s Ricoh Arena as Kevin Nolan’s men had to settle for a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their League Two playoff semi-final. The Magpies led through Jonathan Forte’s deft second-half finish and looked on course to record a morale-boosting victory to put them in pole position for Wembley. However, "referee" Gavin Ward incorrectly adjudged Matt Tootle to have felled Tom Bayliss in the area and awarded a penalty to the hosts much to the disbelief of the Notts contingent. Marc McNulty stroked home the spotkick, sending Adam Collin the wrong way, to send the Sky Blues into next Friday’s Meadow Lane showdown on level terms. Pride of Nottingham vlogger ARLukomski was at the game, and in his latest video, he shares his thoughts before, during, and after what shall henceforth be known as the Coventry Screwjob. 2. Notts County have secured a playoff place in League Two and could yet claim a top-three spot thanks to Saturday's 4-1 win over Yeovil Town at Meadow Lane. The Magpies took the lead on the stroke of half time as Dan Jones let rip with an audacious long-range effort which took a deflection and wrongfooted Glovers keeper John Maddison en route to goal. Notts stepped up a gear in the second half, doubling their lead with a wonderful own goal from Tom James before strikes from Elliott Hewitt and Lewis Alessandra put the hosts out of reach. There was time for the visitors to bag a consolation and breach County's clean sheet as Alex Fisher netted in injury time from a free kick. However, the result was in no doubt whatsoever and the Black & White Army could celebrate another huge step in the team's promotion bid. Relive the key moments - including the worldie own goal - with the official match highlights, which we have shared here for you. 3. Notts County are guaranteed a playoff place in League Two and could yet break back into the top three thanks to Saturday's 4-1 win over Yeovil Town at Meadow Lane. However, the result was in no doubt whatsoever and the Black & White Army could celebrate another huge step in the team's promotion bid. Victory took the Magpies to within two points of third-placed Wycombe with two games left to play. 4. Notts County have taken another giant step towards sealing a League Two playoff place with a 3-1 win at Colchester United. The U's had taken the lead after just nine minutes through Drey Wright at the Weston Homes Community Stadium before John McGreal’s side hit the post early after the break. However, the Magpies stormed back in the second half as Jonathan Forte, Shola Ameobi and Richard Duffy sealed a memorable comeback for Kevin Nolan's side. Tom Eastman hit the post for Colchester but the visitors claimed a comeback victory that sees them sit four points off the automatic promotion spots. Relive the key moments from the match with the official Notts County YouTube highlights, which we have shared here on Pride of Nottingham for you. 5. Notts County returned to winning ways as Jonathan Forte's brace sealed a 2-1 victory over League Two promotion rivals Coventry City at Meadow Lane. Pride of Nottingham-sponsored Forte broke the deadlock when he glanced in Jorge Grant's corner in the 60th minute. Coventry equalised in the 85th minute as substitute Jordan Ponticelli deceived goalkeeper Adam Collin with a deft flick into the back of the net. However, the Magpies responded immediately when Forte got a touch on Shola Ameobi's low cross to secure a vital three points. Notts had not won in their last four games but victory leaves them four points off the automatic promotion spots and five ahead of their opponents, who hold the final playoff place. 7. Notts County are now seven points adrift of League Two's automatic promotion places as they were beaten 1-0 at Accrington Stanley on Easter Monday. Mark Hughes's goal was enough to settle the game between the sides at the Wham Stadium as the Magpies slipped to fifth in the table. Notts wasted three glorious opportunities to equalise with Jonathan Forte hitting the bar, while Matty Virtue and substitute Jorge Grant both shot wide when unmarked. With Stanley winning, and Luton Town and Wycombe Wanderers also recording victories, Kevin Nolan's side face a mountain to get back into the top three, and surely the target must now be remaining in the playoffs. 8. Notts County missed out on the chance to gain ground on the top three in League Two as they were held to a goalless draw by Wycombe Wanderers in Good Friday's match at Meadow Lane. The Chairboys came to NG2 very much intent on leaving with a point and the Magpies could not break their defence down in an uninspiring, rain-sodden encounter. County had the better of the chances in the first half with Shola Ameobi striking a post following a Terry Hawkridge cross. Kevin Nolan was then sent to the stands as he vented his anger after Ameobi was hauled down in the penalty area by Adam El-Abd, but referee Ben Toner ruled there was no foul. Both sides continued to trade blows in the second half but, with Notts having little end product and Wycombe shutting up shop, the end result was a stalemate. 9. Notts County's promotion hopes suffered another blow as League Two strugglers Chesterfield ran out 3-1 winners in Sunday's encounter at the Proact Stadium. The hosts took the lead on 16 minutes Andy Kellett's corner was touched on by Drew Talbot and Sid Nelson chested the ball past Magpies goalkeeper Adam Collin from point-blank range. Elliott Hewitt then missed a sitter before the Spireites doubled their lead through a poor clearance that was rifled home by Zavon Hines. Notts huffed and puffed and laboured throughout the early afternoon but they put themselves within a goal of getting something from the game thanks to Dan Jones's free kick. Despite the County goal and nine minutes of stoppage time, there was to be no salvaging of a point as Chesterfield went on to score a penalty in the dying moments of the game. Should you, for whatever reason, wish to relive the key moments from the game, maybe as a reminder of when Notts bottled their season or a lesson in how not to play football, here are the highlights. 10. Notts County were humbled in front of the television cameras as League Two strugglers Chesterfield ran out 3-1 winners in Sunday's encounter at the Proact Stadium. Notts huffed and puffed and laboured throughout the early afternoon but they put themselves within a goal of getting something from the game thanks to Dan Jones's free kick. Nine minutes of stoppage time seemed to herald a potential comeback for the Magpies but all that happened was Chesterfield restoring their two-goal lead after Matt Tootle gave away a penalty and Kristian Dennis converted. 11. Notts County came so close to claiming a first league victory against Mansfield Town since 2005 but ultimately fell just short as the opposition scored a late penalty in what ended as a 1-1 draw.. The big League Two derby, which kicked off at 1pm, saw the Magpies take the lead midway through the first half at a snowy Meadow Lane. Terry Hawkridge was the man who scored the opener, a scrappy goal bundled home from close range after Conrad Logan had palmed Shola Ameobi's header back out into danger. The Stags improved in the second half but Notts had appeared to have done enough when the clock ticked past the seven minutes of added time. But the game continued and, in the eighth minute, Lewis Alessandra's handball in the box - though even that is contentious - led to a penalty, which Kane Hemmings converted for an ill-deserved share of the spoils. Notts County have uploaded the match highlights, and we've shared them on here for you so you can relive the action from the game. 13. Notts County have got their stuttering promotion hopes back on track thanks to a 2-0 win over Stevenage in Saturday's League Two encounter at Meadow Lane. The Magpies laboured throughout the game but went on to open the scoring 13 minutes from the end. It came from the refreshed Jorge Grant, on as a substitute, as he struck a superb volley into the bottom corner of the net after the visitors had struggled to deal with Richard Duffy's ball into the box. The second goal came just two minutes later as Shola Ameobi bravely prodded in a header from Ben Hall, getting a knock for his troubles although he was fine to continue. The result sees the Magpies climb to fourth in the table and narrow the gap between themselves and third-placed Wycombe Wanderers to one point. 15. Notts County were held to a 0-0 draw by Newport County at Rodney Parade on Saturday. In a game of few clear-cut chances, the Magpies had to settle for a point which saw them end the day fifth in League Two. Notts were more dangerous than their opponents, with Lewis Alessandra and Jon Stead both going close. Four minutes were added on at the end of the match, towards the end of which Notts forced a succession of corners. However, there was to be no breakthrough as the game ended goalless. Here are the official match highlights from County's YouTube channel, which we have shared here for you. 16. Notts County returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Carlisle United on Tuesday night. Jon Stead put the Magpies ahead in the 19th minute when he collected a pass from Lewis Alessandra and fired a goalward effort which hit Cumbrians goalkeeper Jack Bonham and looped into the net. The veteran striker then doubled County's lead in the 35th minute when he reacted quickest during a goalmouth scramble and saw his effort rebound off a player back onto him and then into the goal. Carlisle went on to make it a nervy finish through a deflected Jamie Devitt strike after the break and an inexplicable seven minutes of injury time, but Notts saw the game out for all three points. 18. Notts County put in arguably one of the worst performances of the season on Saturday as they fell to a 1-0 defeat at Barnet. The League Two's basement side more than matched their opponents for the majority of the game before grabbing the winner in injury time. A lump upfield by goalkeeper Craig Ross bounced kindly for Alex Nicholls, who raced onto the ball and lashed it past Adam Collin to give the Bees all three points. The result leaves the Magpies fourth in the table, two points behind third-placed Wycombe Wanderers and just four points ahead of eighth-placed Lincoln City. While it was not a good game by any means of the imagination, we have put up the highlights so you can see the key moments, perhaps to establish what went wrong, or if you weren't at the game and want to see what happened. 19. Notts County came from a goal down to record a superb 4-1 win over Crewe Alexandra in Saturday's League Two encounter at a packed Meadow Lane. In front of a bumper crowd of more than 17,000 thanks to Alan Hardy's "2 for Crewe" offer, the Magpies fell behind to Shaun Miller's goal on the rebound. However, Notts were level seven minutes later when Noor Husin rifled home a stunning Roy of the Rovers-esque drive from all of 25 yards out. Elliott Hewitt then put the hosts ahead just before half time before adding a second on the hour in what was a man-of-the-match performance from the versatile player. With full-time approaching, Derby County loanee Mason Bennett scored on his debut to cap off a memorable win for the Magpies. 20. Notts County put in one of their best performances of the season in front of the biggest Meadow Lane crowd of the 21st century in Saturday's 4-1 win over Crewe Alexandra. The Magpies endured a wobbly start as Shaun Miller drilled home on the rebound after just eight minutes for the breakthrough. However, Noor Husin struck back on the quarter-hour mark with a ferocious long-range effort before Elliott Hewitt put the hosts ahead just before half time. Hewitt then got his second of the game and County's third by finishing off a great team move on the hour mark and Derby County loanee Mason Bennett added the cherry on top late on. 21. Notts County have earned a place in the hat for the fifth round of the FA Cup after holding Premier League side Swansea City to a 1-1 draw in Saturday's fourth-round match at Meadow Lane. The Magpies began brightly but their opponents soon stepped up a gear and had the hosts under the coash before finding the net on the stroke of half time through Luciano Narsingh. Kevin Nolan's charges were much improved in the second half, however, as Jorge Grant spurned three gilt-edged chances in quick succession. Eventually, County's pressure was rewarded as veteran striker Jon Stead turned home on the hour to draw the Magpies level and ultimately clinch a replay at the Liberty Stadium. 22. Notts County have fallen to a second League Two home defeat in a row after Crawley Town won 2-1 at Meadow Lane on Tuesday night. Jimmy Smith scored in the 25th minute to give the Red Devils the lead but Jon Stead levelled from the penalty spot 13 minutes in the second half. It looked as though the Magpies would claim a point but late drama saw Matty Virtue sent off before Ross Fitzsimons also saw red - and conceded a penalty - for kicking out at an opposition player. Josh Payne went on to convert his stoppage-time spot kick for their first ever win at Meadow Lane. 23. Notts County's superb unbeaten league home run has come to an end as Exeter City ran out 2-1 winners in Saturday's encounter at Meadow Lane. The high-flying Grecians, who are in the promotion mix, took the lead after just seven minutes through Jake Taylor. Jayden Stockley then doubled the visitors' lead just before half time as the Magpies struggled to click with several new players in the XI and in the absence of Matt Tootle and Richard Duffy. Jon Stead pulled a goal back for the hosts with a second-half penalty, won after Shola Ameobi was hauled down in the box, but sadly Notts could not go on to find an equaliser. Pride of Nottingham was at the game and interviewed a number of County fans prior to kickoff. Questions asked include how Alan Hardy and Kevin Nolan have done in their first 12 months, whether Matty Virtue will be a good replacement for Ryan Yates and whether they are happy with the transfer business conducted so far.
