Since Alan Hardy took over as Notts County owner and chairman in January, the club's fortunes turned for the best.

The Magpies were 21st in League Two, one point clear of the bottom two having played one game more, and had just lost their 10th consecutive league match.

Notts ended up surviving quite comfortably in the end and are now preparing for the 2017/18 season with their Football League status intact.

Hardy enjoys using Twitter and, over the last few months, has made extensive use of the platform to communicate with fans, as well as relay club news and share personal opinions.

This has divided opinion among fans, however, and following criticism of how he uses Twitter, Hardy said he would not be using it as much going forward.
