Notts County chairman Alan Hardy has confirmed that the club will look into reducing the size of the matchday programme but is unlikely to get rid of them completely.
EFL clubs recently voted to end their compulsory publication as a result of declining sales and the costs involved in production.
βLike the fans I love a good programme, but the truth is the sales are declining every year,β Hardy told the Nottingham Post.
βA tremendous amount of work goes into them and they are a costly exercise with net losses being considerable.
βBut I donβt think it is right to do away with them altogether and the traditionalist in me says they are still excellent mementos for fans or collectors.
βWe will have a discussion in what we want to do next season in terms of the one we produce, but the likelihood is it will reduce in size.β
