i think luke williams will be privately fancying our chances, this is just him playing it down but if we play how we know we can. he surely must feel that we are good enough to get the results. he is right though, 10 games in will say a lot and i like his calmness as always. he speaks well, its from the heart and although i believe hes reserved with his own predictions. he shows a understanding that we cant just jump the gun.

I can appreciate that he hasn’t coached in League Two, but he must be aware of what other teams have and will have had reports of the clubs in League Two, along with doing his own research ahead of the season. Pre-season has given him some insights about how the squad can perform against various levels. I think we have a good squad on paper and I believe Luke Williams will see this.

By 10 games, he will have more of an understanding, but it’s good that he isn’t getting carried away. He’s very smart with the way he speaks, as some fans will take on board what he says and therefore understand that expectations are different for everyone.

The signings and squad look good on paper, and the whole club appears to be in a great position. If we can start the season off well, I think the momentum will grow, allowing things to build naturally. With this being our first season back, there’s no reason why we can’t do as well as Stockport County. Good teams need to play against them too. The fact that our standard has improved, as has the opposition, means I think we will rise to the challenge.

I think Luke Williams has hit the nail on the head when he talks about other teams reverting to a deep block even when it wasn’t their initial game plan. This shows that our intensity and performance can force a team to change their tactics on the spot. What we need now is to find a way to break down that deep block efficiently.

A big part of succeeding in football is about adapting to the different types of play one might be up against. I think we have players who can cause problems for other teams, but the main thing for me is to provide Macaulay Langstaff, or whoever else, with plenty of chances on goal. I do think Luke Williams is right about the way he’s going about things.

It’s good to hear that Williams is building on our successes from last season, but he is also prepared for what League Two has in store. It’s going to be a challenging league but, with this perspective, we stand as good a chance as any.

Optimistic, yet level-headed, Luke Williams’ approach to League Two is appropriate. Increasing intensity, understanding opponents' strategies, and maintaining an effective game plan design to both defend and attack, are key. I can't wait to see the strategies in play.

Hats off to all the lads for their determined efforts in training. It's not going to be a walk in the park in League Two, but as long as we've got this mentality and level of preparation, we're in for an exciting season!

I Agree with Luke Williams, it's about applying pressure and causing problems for the opposition. We've shown that we can force teams into a deep block; now we need to work on finding more solutions to that puzzle. Regardless, I have high hopes for our first season back in the league.

Remembering last season, it's evident that a deep block situation did arise quite often. If we can tactically outsmart such strategies, I reckon we can maintain control over games. Williams seems aware of this, and it's now down to how well we execute on the pitch.
