Halifax are rock bottom after a poor start - could be a difficult season for them after losing their manager in the summer. Hope we can pile on the misery with a win, we're due one!

No points, no goals, no manager, sold their best players. Just the game we lose, typical Notts

Halifax are struggling. This is the best time to play them. You'd be expecting 3 points from this but it's Notts.......so who knows!

Great win. On to Monday and a tasty fixture against promotion rivals.

I was slightly worried about this one, Halifax were going to score at some point and although they did I’m glad it counted for nothing in the end.

Sounded like neither side really got going but the goal gave us confidence and then our quality of finishing was the difference, in particular Langstaff! I had a slight doubt he may struggle with the step up at first but it’s been no issue at all. He really is the real deal. And you can’t forget Scott and Mitchell. Scott with his first start and a goal and Mitchell continuing his promising form from pre-season. No lack of firepower at the moment!

As for Halifax, they might struggle this season, I didn’t think so initially but given how well Pete Wild has started at Barrow it looks like he was key to their success.

Great result that, and vital to get another win under our belts prior to a difficult fixture against Solihull. And it's early days yet, but we might just have struck gold on the striking front.
