Further improvements have been made to the beta version of the lightweight dark theme (which is increasingly becoming my preference).

The control actions: @, Bookmark, +, Quote, Edit and Report - now largely resemble the same style as the light version.
The look on mobiles within both themes has been reduced, so that they should all be shown within the same line.

Now:

This was only effected by certain resolutions on mobiles, but the issue has been fixed.

I still need to change the post goal, but I need to see how it looks when we hit the halfway mark and then having reached it - before I can apply a final fix.

0% and 50% is now styled to colours which wouldn't be distracting for a dark based theme.

The rest of the theme improvements, including the default and dark version of that, are all rather minor and most likely won't be noticed. Yet they do give a significant improvement. Onto content now. ????

Over the next 3–4 days, can the members who feature in the leaderboard please confirm if they received a notification or not about their position?

Sometimes when I click the black button at the top of a topic to reply to it on the big threads like Cartoon  Corner or Jokers wild, the reply page doesn't appear & I have to go to the bottom of the page to open the reply page.

When this happens I write my reply and click on the post nothing happens, but when I come out of the thread, & go to the dashboard, the post has posted.

Could this happening have anything to do with the thread having hundreds of posts on it? It happens sometimes on the Brexit thread too.

A page does take time to load up. It might be something to do with that, but not sure.

The thing is. If I click on the post button again if It appears it hasn't posted, it has double posted. That's why I always check on the dashboard first.

The notifications should come on a daily basis around the same time.

I might have to fine tune when the leaderboard updates, with the notification being more timely sent afterwards. Yet, they should come on a daily basis, without one being missed - provided the task runs properly.

It could be a host of things, more than likely it's due to the amount of posts and the content within them - in addition to the server finding it demanding to process. I will look into it, and see if there's anything that can be done or if it's a case of branching into a new topic on the same subject.

@Chris I thought it might be that the thread is too big.

Like you said it's maybe the case of posting a fresh thread but I'll leave it until you've looked into it.

Thanks for letting me know, I thought the issue had been fixed, but it's back to the blackboard with it.

Does anyone remember the news ticker we used to have? Well, it's back! At the moment I do not want to have any of the messages automated. I will manually update the ticker as and when items become worth promoting. ????

Content such as news, features and blogs are almost certainly guaranteed to be added.

At a future stage, I will look into having some of these aspects automated but for now I want to guarantee members check them out. Which, is by any point automated items might be added, there will still be manual items. I encourage members to engage, and look out for what is shared within this space as it will be another area where important updates will be shared.

Announcements will be used for vital or extremely important updates, with further news being shared here or within the admin announcements.

CloudFlare suggests giving users 30 minutes for their cache to clear. Hopefully, this resolves things again.

Yep, thanks @Chris sorry to be a pain, it only seems to happen to me.

FAO: Subscribers.

A recent 'patch' has caused subscriptions to automatically cancel from the point it had been installed. I have confirmed with @Dripsey3 that PayPal has cancelled those are active, but from our end it's still showing as active. I am in talks with how to resolve this matter, but to renew again would mean a payment would be taken twice. This is unfair to subscribers and challenging for the site.

No double payments have been processed.

This issue might only affect PayPal, as looking into Stripe it seems subscribers have remained active.

If not, members subscriptions might expire, but this will not affect any benefits which might be claimed. Once I can confirm, you can either re-subscribe or choose to remain inactive. If you are effected, and wish to continue supporting us by subscribing - I will walk you through the process closer to the time of your potential next payment cycle.

It looks as if Stripe is okay, but I apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Hi @Chris I’m not sure what stripe is but mine goes automatically from my bank, December has been paid but January’s is due on 18th, let me know if I need to do anything.

Stripe is a leading payment gateway, that's what PON's system uses to process payments. PON doesn't store any information, that's where Stripe comes into it. Most online sites use them for processing payments, due to convenience and security.
