Important Help Our Moderation Team by Reporting Issues

I had a problem this morning when I tried to log on .It came up - Error 403 Forbidden I had the same probem a few days ago but just closed and restarted laptop a couple of times .Eventually I gained access but was quite slowfor a while.Seems ok atm.

There appears to be a continuing problem with the report function.

Ie, It either doesn't go through and if it does, it is never answered or resolved.

The report function does work but you can’t expect reports to be acted on immediately, moderators have lives to live. For my part I’ve told the team I am no longer moderating political posts or reading them, I’m sick of the bickering.

Can a Mod pick & choose what they moderate on or not?

Chris is quite happy with what I do, it’s not your concern, unless you’ve suddenly been promoted to admin.

I just wanted to explain that the report system is working.

Of course it is my concern as a supporter & senior member of this site..

If the site is having an issue one way or another, that is a cause for concern & it is in all our interests to have it fixed.

I’m sure he is @Robbie you are a great asset to the forum.

I was referring to my role as a moderator, I have discussed with Chris and the team that I will no longer read the political posts so they will remain unmoderated by me, Chris is happy with that so as I say with the greatest of respect who does what regarding moderation shouldn’t concern you.

As I have explained there is no issue with the reporting post feature and moderators aren’t on here 24/7.

we volunteer, most of us do it just to help the site and chris. i offer support, but i am happy to assist with moderation. chris kept asking me over a period of time, and finally agreed because i wanted to do more to help. nobody ignores reports, we want everyone to get along and that not always be possible but my fellow team mates do a good job robbie. it might be disappointing or frustrating at times but nobody is against you. you bring a lot to the community and i want to encourage that, but please can we try to just get along.

i dont think its wrong to want the best, but the bickering with politics needs to stop and we need to continue treating everyone as we would without that stuff. nobody should take things personally, but its hard. if something personal is said, we need to try to avoid further hurt and just take a step back.

its good to report things, robbie. it helps chris and most people do choose to ignore things. the report system does work, sometimes it might take time for action but sometimes there is no need.

once chris sees this, maybe he will have thoughts on the report system.

lets do best by pon and continue to grow as a community. we all have the power to make the best experience for all involved.
