Kyle Cameron signs contract

Featured Replies

I am pleased that we don’t have to give the armband to someone else, Kyle Cameron is good for us. He’s very good at getting Notts going at times when we are slow, he just needs to cut out some of the mistakes and focus more on his defensive duties.

Yes, Kyle Cameron is a decent defender but a very good one at this level. Notts fans think we should have players who are all the same and we know what that is like. He’s very good at being a defender that goes forward, I am fine with him leaving Aden Baldwin back and whoever completes the back three. So, I am delighted and eager to see how he does in League Two.

When I learned that Kyle Cameron had signed on, I wanted to jump up and start celebrating, but I obviously didn’t. He seems like a very capable player. I know some fans have questioned his defending, but to be so good going forward at this level, something has to give. Luke Williams just needs to reign him in a bit, that’s all.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

It is always beneficial to retain a captain. Kyle Cameron is a skilled player and is likely to improve alongside the rest of the squad. If the midfield can increase their defensive efforts, it will alleviate the pressure on the three defenders at the back, should Luke Williams decide to employ this strategy.
