Is It Enough

Featured Replies

We have had 4 players out of the club,  and up to yet only 1 deffo in and 1 possible. We are still going to be short if we get any more suspensions and Injuries. Still time for more though, so let's wait and see.

So far the signings don't seem to 'quality', however we can't really say until we see how they do. I personally am disappointed because I feel we should have risked keeping perhaps Labadie and Haynes, see what we could do. I suppose it depends on if we sign anyone else!

I wasn't excepting sterling signings, though I hoped what we did sign would be good enough for the first team and not players who are happy to sit on the bench.

Why? We've let players go who could, especially given a push and strong man management. The signings coming in don't seem to one's which would suggest they will break into our team and that's why I am disappointed but I trust Derry. I am sure both him and Greg know what they're doing.

We've taken on a 35 year old left back with the views of him playing when needed, god I hope Sheehan doesn't pick any more booking up. A youngster from Bath City, also tweeted he is joining us.

These signings don't fill me with any confidence at all. But we trust in our management team, who know more than I do about players.

Derry said this morning on Radio Nottingham not to expect any marque (is that the right spelling?) signings, I also trust the management team, lets hope we have enough in the squad to keep us up.

I don't expect marquee, there's quality above and beneath us in the form of quality. I trust GA and SD but Roberts is hardly a player we can expect to see next season, with this in mind I do feel we should be building.

Yes his hands are somewhat tied but we need quality, we shall see.

I thought this would be the case as we can't afford players that would get straight into the first team, however we do need cover for certain positions. Our first team is getting more and more set in stone, with it being hard to argue dropping the majority of them (if we ignore the Walsall performance).

This is the issue we have now. The recent run (ignoring Walsall) has had a settled side. Who would you leave out / replace?

Fotheringham is the first obvious one, even though he has looked a little better recently. Boucard? The front pairing? Enoch does a job, but he's never going to get 20 is he? When I remove the rose tinted glasses (I do prefer a big target man, regardless what anyone says. He still gives his all, but I'm not daft enough to think he is a match winner every week!
