Stuart Maynard: Should he stay or should he go?

We, the Notts fans will all have our opinions on whether Start Maynard should stay or go, but the only people who count at this stage, are the Reedtz brothers who have made it clear that Stuart will stay as the side is rebuilt and he will begin the next season in charge.

On social media there has been mixed reaction to the news that Maynard has the confidence bof the Notts board.

It will be interesting to see if the "Maynard out" placards are seen after the end of the game against Harrogate if Notts lose that match today.

Whatever we think on the matter, the update from the board has at least given us clarity and confirmed that SM will still be here until the summer at least, and almost certainly at the start of next season too. That has the positive effect that it draws a line under the circus surrounding SM for the time being at least and will help focus everyone's attention towards what's happening on the pitch.
