Statement from Notts regarding FA Cup Replays

So pleased to see a statement from my club Notts County, regarding the FA abolishing FA Cup replays

A powerful statement by the the oldest league club and founder member of the Football League as well as other EFL clubs, and non league clubs sharing their condemnation of the decision, should send a big message to the FA that their terrible decision should be reversed.

Have you read the fa's response? Dangerous Sausage as posted on the FA Cup Replays To Be Scrapped. It would seem that they are determined to Go Ahead with Stupid plan, so Now Is The Time to start to fight back.

If Notts County were to decided to Boycott the FA Cup because of this Ridiculous Decision I for One Would Fully Support the Club.

Yes I have read it and it looks like the FA are determined to push it through.

The make up of the representation that made the decision appears to be heavily weighted in favour of the PL.

Early days, but we could be seeing the beginning of a big split happening in the national game.

The FA are clinging on to the big six every which way they can, but I think it's inevitable that there will be sadly a European Super League in the not too distant future.

You're 100% right there will be a Major Split within the National Games and I think you've hit the nail on the head regarding a European Super League, the FA don't give two figs about Clubs outside the Premier League. And  Manchester City Manchester United Liverpool Arsenal Tottenham and Chelsea will join a European Super  League and the entrance to which will be based on how much a Club has in it's Bank account rather than it's Football prowess. And Fan objection will be pushed to one side.

I feel the statement could have been harsher worded to be honest. As one of the founding members of the football league, Notts alongside six of the others could have formed quite a vocal opposition to this. They should have called out the FA like the Tranmere statement did, now that was incredibly well worded and hit home with a lot of fans.

The FA are running scared of the Premier League and the Government (whoever that may be) need to appoint the much talked about independent regulator as soon as possible because the FA cannot do it.
