Notts Man Of The Match v Fleetwood

Featured Replies

Well. Notts have fought back from 0:2 down to get a creditable draw.

Notts created several chances in addition to scoring two goals.

So who would you name as your man of the match & why?

For me, there are three players that stand out, Crowley, Jones & Macari.

All three have a claim to man of the match, but I will give it to the man who was influential in the 2nd half & kept super cool to score a pressure penalty for Notts in injury time.

My man of the match goes to Jodi.

Yes I think the sponsors got it right motm was Jodi, he had defenders kicking him all afternoon but he still managed to wriggle past them and put superb crosses in, I just wish the ref had given him more protection, they’d obviously identified him as a danger and he was targeted.

The penalty also took an age with the shenanigans going on but he kept his cool and scored a great penalty.

Hard to disagree with Jodi, he was our best attacking outlet down the wing. Although I did feel at times he was trying to do a bit too much when a easy pass was an option to him.

Macari was very good too, I think he's going to have a very good season.

Jodi for me too, Macari and Crowley a close second

except crowley was involved with winning the ball back, moving it around and working in a way that gave notts a edge. jodi was poor defending and only got into the game more when we needed goals. dont get me wrong, hes a great player and its fun to watch him but at times his decisions lost the ball. i would say without jones, we would have been unlikely to get back into it.

for me it was easily noticeable that dan crowley had the better performance.
