Good morning a cold start to the day at 1.3 degrees, on the plus side the nights seem to be getting a tad shorter so spring is hopefully around the corner.

The forum seems very quiet a present just a few regular stalwarts posting, I’d like to see more folk joining in, where is everyone?

If there’s no football to talk about why not join in the weekly chat about anything.

I’ve featured this topic in the hope of more folk seeing it. Come on everyone how’s life treating you?

Just looking forward to the match against Colchester Tuesday evening & hope that Notts can get back to winning ways.

Sad to hear that Luke Williams has been dismissed at Swansea. Very strange that the powers that be let him go after appointing Richard Montague to support him.

Heard there's been another plane crash, this time in Toronto airport Canada. A Delta Airlines commuter plane with around 80 on board flipped over on landing. Some people injured.

@Robbie there do seem to be a lot of airplane crashes just lately, I’m glad I’m going on a cruise next month, I’ll try and avoid watching Titanic before I go.

Seriously I’m never really confident flying, I’m a lot better than I used to be but still worry a little and go through different scenarios about crashing.

@Fan of Big Tone I've never liked flying myself. I can remember going over to the States on a 747 & looking out the window one of the engines were shaking, & I thought it shouldn't be doing that.

On one of the flights back on another 747 we had a lot of turbulence on several different occasions during the flight.

When that sort of thing happens your just at the mercy of the skill of the pilot, mother nature, & hope the plane isn't damaged.

Morning all a cold zero degrees here but the sun is up so hopefully it will get warmer later.

We are meeting up with fellow volunteers this morning for a coffee, we are mentoring them so they can host our next support meeting when we are away.

Later as it’s matchday I’ll be watching Notts and hoping for a positive result against Colchester.

It's been a Sunny but cold morning here. Some good news. It's going to get warmer going into the weekend, with temperatures up to 15C according to the MET Office.

News about that Plane Crash in Canada. It's a miracle that everyone survived although there has been 18 injured of which 3 passengers have been left in a critical condition.

The authorities will be trying to find out why the Plane flipped over on landing. There is speculation that it was a gust of wind. What happened was certainly a very unusual occurrence.

@RobbieThat’s good news that’s good news that everyone survived, I hope the critically ill recover.

It amazes me though why someone who’s just survived a plane crash wants to film their escape from a plane that could possibly catch fire at any minute. The first thing they think of is how many likes they can get on Facebook or tick-tock or whatever. :huh2:

Video shows people clamber over belongings and seats from inside the plane that crashed on the Canadian runway.

Good morning, it’s cold again at 1.8 degrees according to my weather gadget but it dropped down to 0.9 overnight.

We have coffee in bed until the heating comes on at 8am so it’s time to get up now and have a nice bowl of porridge.

I hope everyone is well, have a good day if you can.

Overcast and cold here in Aspley.I'm looking forward to the warmer weather that the Met Office has forecast ,but not the wind and rain. We'll see?

It was another overcast day here and cold. We have been promised warmer weather for a few days. Hope it arrives and gives us some respite..

Pleased with Notts getting the draw last night. A point gained is better than no points at all. Notts are handicapped by 7 injured players being out with 3 new players trying to get up to speed,

That's 10 of the Notts players that are either out or are not yet performing as expected. We need to hope that things on the injury front get much better in the coming weeks.

Could be worse @Robbie we could be Mansfailed they lost again last night 0-3 at Field Mill, that’s 9 games without a win including 8 losses. Clough goes from hero to zero and fans call for his head.

It just demonstrates that there is a big gulf between the top half of league 1 and league 2?

A team that gets promoted to league 1 has to prepare & invest wisely in new players to strengthen the team to just  consolidate, no matter challenge for promotion.

It will be a big task for Notts if they do get promoted. Mansfield were an excellent side at league 2 level, but that stands for nothing in league 1.
