Loanee Kyle Cameron, would he be allowed to play?

If he does he’ll probably have a blinder and score, Sod’s Law.

No match in league 2 is easy. On their day any team can be a match for the other.

It's going to be an important match for Notts who will be keen to get back to winning ways.

The challenge for Notts Tuesday evening will be to turn their chances into goals.

I would like to see Traore in the starting 11 to partner Jatta upfront. I also hope that Macari can start the match & renew his partnership with Platt & Bedeau.

Notts have to be quick & incisive with their play & get behind Barrow. A strong start from Notts would be very welcome.

Barrow have been a disapointment this season but must not be underestimated. Hoping for a big win with several goals for Notts. They are certainly due to score plenty of goals. I say 3:1 Notts.

I'd be surprised if Cameron was allowed to play to be honest, I've no idea what the rules are but I can't see why we'd want to potentially cause ourselves a bit of a nightmare. Like @Fan of Big Tone says imagine if he plays, does well and even scores it'll have seriously backfired for us and he's technically our player so he should only be benefiting us really.

I do think given the little run of games we've got coming up where we'll play 4 teams in the top 10 (Wimbledon, Grimsby, Chesterfield, Crewe) a win here is much needed as I'm fully prepared for us to drop points after it.

I agree with @Robbie too I think it's time to give Traore a start here, I think him and Whitaker in behind Jatta will cause all sorts of problems for Barrow. Maybe a touch to early for Jodi and Macari to start though, but I'll be pleased if either of them do.

Stuart's team for tonight's match against Barrow.

Traore gets his first start and Macari returns to the XI! 🖤

Jones misses out with a minor reoccurrence of his hamstring issue.

League 2 table after tonight's matches. Notts still in fourth place due to favourable results around them.Screenshot_20250304-215525.png

Only 1 of the top 9 won tonight. A missed opportunity for Notts. We didn't deserve anything from the game. The return of Ditzy can't come fast enough and hopefully JJ's injury isn't too bad.

A very disappointing performance and result tonight. We didn’t start to play until we were 2-0 down, Tsaroulla and Grant made a difference when they came on and we started to move the ball around quicker. When Grant scored we were looking like we might get something from the game, the disallowed goal from Abbott would have set us up for an unlikely victory but it wasn’t to be. The ref didn’t give us much all night and was pretty poor in my opinion.

However, to be honest we didn’t really deserve to win for a good hour Notts were really poor. I agree with @Dripsey3 we need Didzy and Jodi back asap, we really do miss them.

If we look at it another way Notts have been fortunate tonight & haven't lost any ground apart from the fact that Walsall & Bradford now look favourites to take the top two places, so I think  Notts are now competing for that third spot

By the end of Match we will know if Notts will still be challenging for an automatic spot or not. The injuries are not helping us & I don't think the new players are stepping up for us just yet.
